The Russian government has pushed its limits a bit closer when it comes to extremism. As of now using a Virtual Private Network or using multiple SIM cards in your phone is an offence. As it is considered to be used to talk or support extreme visions. Like LGBTQ or the opposition of the national party.

Punishments are fines from 5000 to 500000 Roebels. Which is very expensive for the average Russian.

There’s even more, Meta, with Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp as it’s flagships is to be banned for supporting these extreme visions.

What a crazy world!
