Real wage growth in Europe in the last 30 years!

Disappointing

In the years from 1994 to 2024 the average real wage growth in Western European countries was quite disappointing. For instance Italy and Spain haven’t seen any real growth at all. 3 decades wasted.

Countries like the Baltic states, Poland and the Scandinavian countries saw very nice growth, but for the rest of the European countries wage really hasn’t followed economic growth…

Was the creation and implementation of the Euro really a good deal for the Western European countries? I don’t think so, the Eastern European countries profited, the rest is suffering.

Time for change in Europe!

Sincerely,

Germans were saying to me back in 2016 that the DM era was way better than the euro one.

How about we start by improving Denmark's educational system so that we don't have another generation of dumbasses like @lasseehlers?
