A man called Daniel Jackson discovered that a piece of land between Croatia and Serbia alongside the Danubf river wasn’t claimed by neither country yet after the war in former Yougoslavia.

This man discovered this, and claimed the land, gave it sovereignity and called it Verdis and made himself president.

This is all no joke, and it gets weirder. In 2023 the Croatia army entered Verdis. And for this, the president has now started talks to keep Verdis’ sovereignity and Croatia to get a punishment for entering a foreign country uninvited!
