My Hive Goals for 2025 Week #14

I have decided to start posting a weekly update on my progress toward my 2025 goals here on Hive. It helps me stay on track and I can realize if I am behind on a goal at any point in time. The fourth month is over, so there are 8 months left. I am making slow progress towards my goals, and it all adds up.

Progress

Above are statistics that I have gotten from HiveStats. This week was looking slightly worse than last week, and it all adds up over time.

HP

I earned 76 HP earned throughout the week. I am checking this through the difference between the two endpoints on the graph on Hivestats. The numbers are slightly lower than last week, but I still think its quite decent.

HBD

I gained 13 HBD this week and this was worse than last week. I saw that the price dropped below 20 cents yesterday, but it looks like the price has recovered. So, I think I'll put HBD into the market for a price under 20 cents on the Hive price. At worst, I'll just add it to the savings in the later weeks. I am ahead on my progress towards this goal, so it won't set me back too much.

LEO Power

I earned 34 LEO over the past week. It's a bit higher than last week. Overall, the numbers are about the same as last week. The reserves are still there, but I still think that I need to get more LEO by the end of the year. The reserves might last until the end of the year, though.

My progress is looking decent for now. My HP is slowly going up by around 2% per week, and that will be on track towards the goal at the end of the year. As long as I stay consistent, my HP goal shouldn't be too much trouble. HBD is the farthest along for now, and I expect that goal to be the first to reach a stopping point. I want to push it close enough so that the interest would cover the rest of the year, but with Hive price going down, I am tempted to buy more Hive. LEO Power is a bit slower than I would like but I am still earning some LEO each week. It's not that much, but at least it's a bit with the buffer that I already had. It all adds up over time and I am on track towards completing my goals by the end of the year. The main worry that I have right now is the new set in Splinterlands because modern fights will no longer support Chaos Legion when it does.

Hive really is dumping quite a lot, under 20 cents... I wonder if it will ever can keep 40 cents

I think the biggest issue is onboarding and retention...as it is, Hive hasn't solved that yet. So I don't expect any large pumps until that issue is resolved.

I think it's good because both of them are great tokens. It all adds over time, and you can also reward people with them when you vote down the road (if you keep it).

Almost a hundred HP for the week is very decent man. It's primarily about consistently adding up and I don't have to say it, you've been a veteran for years so you're very familiar with that. You're doing awesome man and also inspiring guys like me to work harder here

More the Hive dump. it is more harder to have HBD goal through post-earnings.

True, but I think that is the perfect time to get Hive. I am ahead of where I need to be for HBD, so I don't feel any rush getting my HBD up just yet.

Reading your hive goals, I must confess that I am already inspired also to even set some goals for myself on hive

LEO continues to fall and that is worrying.

It will go up and down. I don't think we will see the LEO prices that were there during the previous bull market, but LEO keeps developing and that is more than I can say about quite a few other tribe tokens.
