Hello all! Another week and it’s time again to do another #myhivegoals post, a series idea started by started by @jongolson. This also doubles as my weekly progress report for #saturdaysavers, which is a fun little group that tries to motivate everyone to save and reach their goals. I’m going to look at the progress I’ve made on my Hive goals, as well as give a few tokens I’m looking at right now. If you are here for the comment SBI giveaway, well, we’ll get to that too.
Let’s start with my Hive goals.
Hive & HBD
My current goal is 35k Hive.
Last week I increased my HP 364.84, bringing me to 29341.6 total Hive Power. That’s 83.8% of my goal!
240 of it is from daily powerups (100 of which was yesterday, as you can see in the graph below), leaving just a tiny 120.84 that I made from posts. That’s a bit disappointing and is much lower than usual, but it’s not unexpected. With the price of HIVE under .20, votes have gone down. That’s just how Hive works. But on the other hand, I can afford to buy more HIVE. So I suppose it’s ok.
Math time. 35k - 29341.6 gives us 5658.4. Divided out by the days till the first of next year, we get 32 Hive needed per day to reach 35k by that point. That’s .6 down from last week, so progress is being made!

Let’s dive into those numbers to give a little more info.
That 0.345 in BRO is still pretty low. I do want to turn my attention more to BRO, but I also have other things to focus on right now. I’ll get around to it… For all the rest of you, it is worth keeping in mind that as the price of HIVE has fallen, the price of BRO has fallen. It’s more affordable right now, if you are thinking about buying some.
My PIMP earnings are still looking good. With this weekly average I am not going to hit my goal this year, but we’ll see how close I can get.
And as for CINE, no goal here, I’m just staking what I earn instead of selling it, trusting that @raymondspeaks actually does have a plan for this coin someday beyond spending my money.
Worth a Look
There is still RUG and DUO to take a look at. RUG is run by @silverstackeruk and looks to be similar to SPI but focusing on defi projects. I think SSUK’s proven his knowledge running things like this the past several years on Hive, so I’m in with this. If you are too, you only have a limited time to pick RUG up at 2 Hive each. And there’s DUO, run by @bulliontools and @bitcoinman. This one directly goes into their wonderful efforts to onboard with HOC (Hive Onboarding Committee). If you support what they are doing, read more here.
