Recently there was a stampede happened in Bangalore because people want to see their cricketing idol. What happened is that RCB especially Bangalore franchise has won the Cricketing Event Indian Premier League after 18 years. And the very next day there was a event where all the players would be going in a open bus so that fans can see the players.

The event was scheduled in a hurry and thus the police has not given the clearance. And in between the politicians also has done a photo op with the players. So everything was messy. And thus whoever has gone to see the players are trapped somehow as there was so much crowd. There was rumors that there is free ticket and thus people wanted to get the ticket and because of that the stampede happened.
But the problem is, it was mistake of the people. People shouldn't have gone to that place as there was so much crowd. Since it was a mistake of the people but still the government has given a compensation of 25 lakhs to the family members. This is actually bad because since it was a mistake of the people, the government shouldn't give the compensation. This compensation was given by the government so that the people shouldn't ask questions to the government.
But this is actually a very bad thing from the government. This compensation is nothing but giving away the tax payers money to the people who died for their own mistake. And this willnot stop, it will continue to rise. Now whenever there is some problem like this happens, the government will give the compensation and does try to come out clean from it.
