Saturday Savers Club Week 4 Update – Pushing Through Challenges

Hello Hive friends and Fellow Saturday Savers!

It’s that time of the week again, time for my Saturday Savers Club Update! Sadly, this week’s progress was less than inspiring, with another low increase in Hive Power and other tokens. While the numbers don’t look great, I’ve been working behind the scenes on several projects that will (hopefully) bear fruit in the long run.

🚀 Weekly Progress (Week 4)

Hive Power (HP):

Last Week: 8178 HP
This Week: 8213 HP
Increase: +35 HP
- Target Weekly Increase: +145 HP
- Performance: Fell short by -110 HP, which is disappointing, but I’m not giving up.

HBD Savings:

Last Week: 1332 HBD
This Week: 1332 HBD
Increase: +0 HBD
- No visible growth here this week as I’ve been redirecting HBD into EDS-D for future EDSI and Hive Power growth.

📈 Second-Layer Token Growth

EDSI: 27 (unchanged)
- Growth through EDS-D distributions will show results soon.
BBHO: 3139 (+53)
- A decent increase, as I keep powering up BBHO steadily.
BXT: 192 (unchanged)
- BXT remains on pause, but I plan to reallocate resources to it soon.
LEO: 210 (unchanged)
- Slow progress here, but I’ll keep at it.

🪙 Key Updates

Pool Growth and Leasing:
- I’ve started exploring leasing! This week, I delegated 1000 HP to fulfill a lease request. While the returns (0.3 SWAP.HIVE daily) were lower than I expected, I’m using all earnings from this lease to increase the PWR and ATX Diesel Pools.
Bots and Tools:
- Continued developing my Hive tipping bots and added new features like the daily summaries, which I'm still tuning, as they need some small technical improvements, and a lot of visual improvements (and they now post 100% powered up to show their dedication!). Sadly, a single user keeps downvoting these summaries, leaving a net result of zero, but I’m not letting that stop me.
- Started working on new Hive tools, some for fun, some for utility, and others just to experiment. More updates to come!
Consistency in Posting:
- Despite the slow growth, I’ve kept up with near-daily posts and Actifit updates. Walking more often has been great for both health and content creation.

📅 Plans for the Coming Week

Focus on increasing Hive Power through consistent posting and engagement.
Explore leasing further while maintaining a balance with delegations and personal RC needs.
Continue building BBHO, EDSI, and LEO holdings while evaluating new Layer 2 token opportunities.
Develop and share more Hive tools to contribute to the ecosystem.

🏁 Final Thoughts

This week wasn’t the best, but every step forward is progress. With 11 months to go, there’s plenty of time to make up for these slower weeks and smash those 2025 goals. Long-term strategies are the focus, building a strong foundation for the future.

It was another slow week for me too in HP growth. At the moment, it's back to where it was many months ago. Congratulations on the gains that you did make, as you're absolutely right, every little bit helps! I got another 97 PWR today after liquifying my third DRIP unstake. Now I'm over 500 PWR and SWAP.HIVE in liquidity! I can't wait to see how that new tool that you showed me turns out! If it could track both layer-1 HIVE, as well as layer-2 SWAP.HIVE income, including that from diesel/liquidity pools, it would be incredibly useful! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

But yup, that could be incredibly useful for sure! It could really help deciding where to focus resources onto! At first sight, I’m already thinking about refocusing some of my HP Delegations…
Yup, really slow weeks now, and indeed, back to where it was many months ago. Over the 12 Months of 2024, I had an average of 93.5HP per week! And now I’m stuck at 35-40… No idea why though… Which is basically why I wrote the script :-D lol

No doubt, and brilliant! Yes, it would be incredibly useful in that regard! I'm so curious how you're considering refocusing your HP delegations!

Your average gain through 2024 is was very good indeed, and that's generally faster than I gain HP...lol! Yeah, the drop in HP growth is really odd, because I was doing quite well even when the APR was low, and now that it's higher, I still haven't seen the effect of it much yet. I'm really excited about this script! There are so many possibilities with it! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

And it seems my weekly average is still decreasing now. I have NO idea what's going on...
As for my delegations, I found that 100HP in your account gives around 0.03HP per day in curation income. So Times 30 is 0.9HP/month. Then with the script, I checked what the payout for each delegation was, relative to what I delegated to them. Turns out some are not even returning 10% of that.
