With kiwi, everything is not simple.
It has become fashionable to plant all sorts of exotic plants now, and kiwi varieties are one of them.
If you look through half a page of the Internet, you can find many frost-resistant varieties, and as the sellers say, the result will not take long to come.
If you do not count a few kiwi bushes that grow in a flowerpot on my windowsill, grown from the seed of a kiwi fruit bought in a supermarket, then I have nothing to brag about in this area and I cannot show any result of this work, and the result looks like fruits, or at least like flowers.
Therefore, I will illustrate my thoughts with photographs of flowers that I saw on the lawn, and for someone this is the final, correct result of the work, because the chain is closed - a seed, seedlings, a plant and flowers.
I have been looking at the liana, which is kiwi, for a long time and I understand that for success you need to plant male and female specimens of this plant, but no one will give us any guarantees that you will buy exactly this planting material, it's like a lottery.
Yesterday I listened to one gardener who has been burned many times by unscrupulous sellers of planting material, including kiwi.
Often they sell us seedlings that, like me, were grown on a windowsill from seeds, and such a liana will bloom and bear fruit only after ten years at best... I'm not sure that I am ready to wait so long lol.
But, of course, there are some doubts, it cannot be ruled out. that this guy is engaged in anti-advertising of some suppliers of planting material and lobbies the interests of others, businessmen close to him, I don’t know, I’m not sure about this, you need to very carefully sort everything out in the hope of seeing at least flowers on the kiwi liana lol.
