Each of us has unforgettable moments in life, sometimes we want to build events in such a way that each such moment of life is circled with a red felt-tip pen on a calendar sheet, but sometimes you can forget about such moments.
I laughed when I saw a squirrel feeder that someone had set up on the branches of a tree.
No, I respect the desire of a person to do something good for an animal, for example... feed it nuts and pine cones.
I laughed at the thought of what the squirrel's reaction would be and whether it would remember that there were tasty surprises waiting for it in this feeder.
The thing is that the squirrel's happiness hormone reaches its peak at the moment when it finds something like that and after that, it must hide it, hide it well.
It seems nothing strange, we are all happy when we find something valuable, but for the squirrel it works against it, the excess of the happiness hormone completely erases from the squirrel's memory the information about where exactly it hid its treasure.
It seems like unforgettable moments, but those that are forgotten immediately after the surge of happiness.
