Sports and food.
Lol, I'm not a nutritionist and I've never told anyone what food to eat and how sports contribute to its growth, or... sorry, it's complicated, someone eats in order to do sports, and someone just likes to eat tasty food and I probably won't do sports, but I won't refuse to eat tasty food if my beloved wife cooked it.
But then. the question may arise, what am I talking about then, is natural.
I'm talking about those moments when people grow food as a sport, yes, exactly as a sport.
And it should be noted that if a hunter treats hunting as a sport, and he is not hungry, he just wanted to shoot a bird, then he is a bad person, to put it mildly, and when people kill their time and energy and the energy of their family and friends for the sake of growing a record pumpkin, that's good lol.
It's strange to me to see the research on growing super pumpkins, unless these people suddenly believe in fairy tales and they think that if a small pumpkin doesn't turn into Cinderella's golden carriage before the ball, then a big pumpkin will definitely turn into it.
I grew up in a country where pumpkins are grown everywhere, both forage varieties for cattle and dessert varieties, but, as a rule, only a small part of the pumpkins is eaten, and the bulk of them ends up in the compost pit.
When I need a pumpkin, I go to the market and buy either a pumpkin that fits perfectly in the oven cabinet, or, as in this case, I buy half a pumpkin and cook it in pieces, but what do people do with pumpkins weighing several hundred kilograms?
Growing such a giant is not an easy task, if you take into account all the nuances, and this is preparing the soil, cuttings, trimming the summer ovaries and pollinating the flowers, I'm not even talking about periodically turning the pumpkin over so that it does not rot from below due to the heavy load on the soil.
This is definitely a sport, but for me it is a little strange.
Below you can see my containers with data that I collect in INLEO and always have quick access to them it is very convenient.
Material thoughts about beekeeping №1
When I visited dense forests, I did not see ideal conditions for bees there, but many beekeepers harvest beekeeping products in such places.
