Most of the people think that we get our energy from the food that we eat. This is quite true but that alone is not the source of our energy. There are several other sources from which we get our energy. Even if we don't eat food for a day we will still get our energy to push ourselves for one more day if we have the right motivation. Scientifically it is true that we need food to stay energized throughout the day apart from food other things will keep us active.
A few more factors are responsible for our energy both physically and mentally. Let's see the 3 important things that can increase or decrease our energy. Despite eating a very good meal, one can decide to stay active or have a nice nap after the meal. It is also how we practice our body and mind. The following 3 factors decide how we get our energy for the day.
Things we listen to
It is always advised to listen to good things. Our ears have the power to grasp things easily with the help of sound. Listening to good things will impose good thoughts in our mind and listening to bad things can spoil our mind. To keep our energy level high, it is advisable to listen to good things. These days we have mobile phones and we listen to a lot of things using our mobile phones. Even the communication also happens through our mobile phones where we process things through our ears. When we listen to good thoughts and good things, we get more energy to stay active and do something good.
One good example that can be considered is the war cry that happens before a battle. The leader of the army usually gives a speech motivating the army before the start of the battle. This helps in boosting their confidence level and then give them a lot of energy during the battle.
Things we read
Reading also has the same effect as listening to something. Both our eyes and ears can see and listen to things that are happening around us. If we are fed with good things we will have the energy to do good things. If we keep reading about un-motivational things, we will not even feel like getting out and doing anything. People need motivation to get some energy and that motivation is brought by reading something or hearing something good.
People with whom we spend our time
If we spend our time with energetic people we tend to get a lot more energy from others. It is all mindset. Even if we eat nutritious food, if we don't have good motivation, all our nutrition will work against us and will not even let us get out of bed in the morning. But at the same time if we have the right person with whom we can spend the time, the motivation and energy will automatically come and it will be a great push for us every day. This right person can be anyone, it can be our parents, spouse, kids, or even grandparents for that matter. I have got a lot of inspiration from my grandfather, to be honest. Even at the age of 85, he was able to do creative things which I admired the most.
