Mosquitoes are the biggest problem in many parts of the world. Something makes me feel that mosquito bites have increased a lot these years compared to the past. In the past, we did not need mosquito nets and were still sleeping peacefully. I don't know if our tolerance has decreased or if we have so many mosquitos compared to the past. Whatever the case, it is good to stay prevented from Mosquitoes.
I recently covered my entire house with Mosquito nets. It was a challenging task because there were a few vents that was challenging. But somehow I managed to cover them with mosquito nets from the outside. It did cost me a lot of money but this is something that was needed because it was annoying to sleep with mosquito bites.
Mosquito problem
We have to first understand how dangerous Mosquitoes are. They look very small but they are a big nuisance to us. The reason is because they bite us and suck our blood. They need blood to lay eggs and reproduce. It is believed that only female mosquitos bite us to take blood. The male mosquitoes also bite but they usually bite for a different reason which is just for fun. Sometimes it is annoying that they don't simply bite one time, drink the blood, and walk away. They keep biting again and again.
There are some effective solutions available where we can use some creams and repel mosquitoes. There are also mosquito coils and other ways to fight mosquitoes. Usually, when I go to the garden, my mother asks me to apply coconut oil in the leg area so that mosquitoes don't bite. I have checked this and it works very well. When the coconut oil smell wears off, they will start biting again.
Solution for mosquito problem
The first solution to this problem is prevention. Killing the mosquitoes or finding a permanent solution to eradicate mosquito is the next thing but primarily we have to make sure they don't bite us. I have installed mosquito nets in all the doors and windows so that I don't have a mosquito problem.
It will be very annoying outside the house because as they cannot come inside the house, when we go outside they hunt us down. I have tried all the methods in the past. The first method being the mosquito repellent solution. Then I tried using camphor in water and then a mosquito net cover around my sleeping area and finally odomos cream.
Nothing worked out well compared to the solution of getting all the windows sealed with Mosquito net. Now after this, I don't have mosquitoes inside the house and even though a lot of money was spent, it was a worthy investment. I keep hearing that there are a few countries like France where there are no mosquitoes but even in India if necessary precautions are taken there is a high chance that the mosquito population can be greatly reduced.
