The future of the IT industry is changing. We all thought that the IT industry would be forever, but it looks like there is a great transformation going on in the IT industry, and the biggest reason for that is AI, and the way we are looking at AI and ML. AI is indeed showing a great advantage to the industry; at the same time, it is also challenging human beings and providing great comfort in what we used to do.
Today, with the revolution of AI, companies are undergoing a transition towards embracing the technology and incorporating AI into their products. This is the most expected thing, and when computers first came into existence, the same thing happened: people had to undergo a significant adoption when computers were introduced to humanity. AI is playing a very important role in simplifying many tasks that humans do. We cannot say that AI will take over everything, but it is mostly possible. Even if AI can write code, there will be a need for someone to oversee that code or find resolutions to the problem the code has.

I have tried generating code from the AI for my projects, but usually what happens is, the code is perfect, and some codes worked as it is, but we cannot leave loose ends thinking that it will always be perfect. There is a high chance that some codes might fail, and it can even have security issues. We need experts who can find those issues and fix them. This way, the majority of the code is created by AI or with the help of AI, and we need someone who can think and make some enhancements.
An interesting thing is that I recently started working with a client. They are using AI for almost everything. They use magic patterns to generate the frontend of the application using AI. On top of that they also generate the code and send it to me. All that I have to do is validate the code and verify the logic and make sure it is secure, and make it production ready. I think that the future of development is going to be like that. The clients will have all the tools and have better ways to give their requirements to the developers. The developers should catch up to speed and adapt to the new way of working.
