Usually, we prefer sleeping on a cotton pillow during the night time. Some people have the habit of sleeping during the daytime. When the day time sleep happens, it is usually not in a cotton pillow but instead, the sleep occurs even in the sofa or other places. I have two types of pillows with me. I usually sleep on a cotton pillow. But I prefer sleeping on a Rexine pillow when I have a heavy cold or water clogging in the head. This is what we are going to discuss in this article.
Rexine is some kind of plastic material that is usually an alternative to leather. It is a PVC-coated material that can be seen in Sofa or small pillows. Today Rexine is also used as a fabric material in making some kind of cloth. This material is known for heat generation. If you sit on a sofa made of Rexine, it will look nice initially but after a long time, it will generate heat in the body and make us feel the heat.
I have noticed that this is good for me at times. Sometimes during the cold days of the year, our body is exposed too much to the cold temperature outside. At that time if we are using a Rexine sofa or pillow, we will be able to take some warmth from that. The main reason is when we sit on a cotton or a cloth material, that material absorbs our body heat and it is not given back to us. But if we use Rexine material for sitting, the material does not absorb our body heat but instead gives it back to us. That's why we can feel the heat.
Sleeping on a Rexine pillow during the daytime generates a lot of heat in the head. I experience the heat over my eyes if I sleep on that pillow for a very long time. But whenever I have a problem with water clogging or cold, this pillow helps because it generates a lot of heat in the head providing a better experience for me. This is just a simple experiment that I made and found out.
People who easily catch a cold because of the room temperature can give this a try and see. It may not work well for everyone but I have seen this working for me. Also, it doesn't have to work for you just because it worked for me. Do your research before experimenting if you are not sure about this.
