In the last few days, I have been learning a lot of new things related to coding. ORMs are one thing that has been going on for days. One thing that I noticed was that AI plays a significant role when it comes to learning. AI is everywhere and it is making our life easier.
I was looking for some products on Amazon and checking for the ones with the highest and best reviews. On top of the review section, there is one common review that AI generates that provides a summary of what everyone is thinking and suggesting. This was very impressive and it looks pretty much correct. Instead of spending my time on all the reviews, I can just look at the summary and decide whether to for it or not. This is some kind of innovation that we are expecting from AI and this is one of the best use cases that someone can see.
There are so many use cases in the education sector that AI can do wonders to make the learning experience better. I came across some of those things too.
Virtual Tutors
When the AI models are trained properly, they can act as our virtual tutors. If we program them very well, we should be able to make the AI do the teaching job virtually and also look for options to make the session more interactive and interesting than giving a lecture on a particular topic.
Interactive sessions with AI
There are already a lot of chat bots available when we visit many websites. We can have interactive sessions with AI when it comes to learning. For example, if there is a technical topic and we would like to learn it with a real-time example, we can interact with the AI and ask to provide a real-time example. This way learning can be easier and better.
Study materials prepared by AI
In some of the websites, based on the documentations that are already available AI is now able to prepare study materials for people to go through. The websites are incorporating AI so that they can read through the study materials and give us answers to whatever questions we can ask. Study materials can be structured in many formats as it is easier for AI to do one and the users can pick their preferrable format.
Providing for individual student needs
The needs of every individual student can be different. What one student needs can differ from another student. Sometimes the teachers may not have the patience to give individual attention to all the students. In such cases, seeking help from the authorized AI can help in getting individual attention on specific topics and we can keep learning until we are good on that topic.
Enhancing overall learning outcome
There are several ways in which the overall learning outcome can be enhanced. For example, AI can be integrated with audio devices, and whatever we would like to interact with AI, we can even do it with text-to-audio communication. Even if AI is not ready yet to understand what we are saying, we can pass the command to the AI in the form of text and let the AI help someone learn about something that is part of their subject. Imagine staying in the gym and an AI bot talking to us in our ears explaining a concept that we have to learn. This will be an interesting learning experience.
