There are only a very few coins that I hold outside Hive. One important coin I hold is Bitcoin Cash. I have been holding this for a few years now. From my research on Bitcoin Cash, I found out that the blockchain is good for future investment and those who are not holding any Bitcoin can have this as a good hope and hold them.
I wouldn't say that Bitcoin is not a good investment but the price is not affordable for many people. Even for small investors the gas fees or transaction fees are very high and we might end up losing a lot when we do smaller transactions. That has been the case with Ethereum too. People cannot do microtransactions with Ethereum. I see that as a big failure and that's one good reason why we started to have many Ethereum clones with affordable transaction fees. But none of these blockchains can come near the fee-less transactions we have on Hive.
How I got into Bitcoin Cash
This happened to me through Noise Cash and Read Cash. I started using those apps for a blogging and micro-blogging experience. I must admit that those two places were awesome and many people only learned about Bitcoin Cash through that. I have had experiences where the transactions through the app were also seamless giving a good user experience. I think user experience is what matters when it comes to crypto adoption.
Later I decided to hold whatever I earned from those platforms. I have a decent amount of BCH with me right now and I'm waiting for the next bull run to happen to see a good movement in the price of BCH. Last time the price was over 1000$ if I remember right. I'm expecting the same thing next bull run too. Let's hope for the best.
Cheaper and faster transactions
This is one of the attractive features of Bitcoin Cash. I live the experience the mobile application provides. Bitcoin.com is the mobile app that is used for this if I'm not wrong. I have done some transactions with the app and the transactions are cheaper.
The main reason why this came into existence was after seeing the waiting time Bitcoin had and the cost it took to do some transactions. It was a clone of Bitcoin with this feature introduced to make it better. With Bitcoin Cash, we can do seamless faster transactions for a cheaper transaction fee.
Helps in making payments
I have been using Bitcoin Cash as my payment method for quite some time. I have been paying my domain charges with the help of Bitcoin Cash through Bitpay. Namecheap supports paying with cryptocurrencies and Bitcoin Cash is one comfortable option over there. Today I had to renew one of my domains and I used Bitcoin Cash to make the payments because Namecheap was supporting bitppay and BitPay was supporting Bitcoin Cash.
Does well during bull run
As mentioned earlier, during the last bull run the price of the coin hit 1000 $ and gave a good feeling to many people holding BCH. Noise Cash was one great app but after they made it not rewarding, many people quit. I'm planning to increase my BCH holdings a little bit more because it is easy to keep it in a wallet and use our mobile app to manage that. Maybe if the price of BCH improves in the next bull run, I can book some profits.
