People have two options now. To embrace the emergence of AI and get into that, or to find a job that AI can never replace. Automation is not a new thing. It used to be the case with regular automation too, where it was common for people to lose their jobs if a bot replaced their nature of work. The same is happening with AI too, where AI is the next level of automation. We can be safe if we know which Job to choose where it can never be replaced by AI.
Technical engineers
These roles are pretty much field workers. I would say that any field work cannot be replaced by AI. There will always be a demand for field workers. They used to say that Marine Engineers are one of the most demanding job, and chemical engineers also used to be highly paid jobs. But depending on what we choose, we can find out whether it can be replaced by AI or not. Mostly jobs that have knowledge associated with it can easily be replaced by AI but jobs that require human thinking capabilities or unique thinking capabilities are hard to replace by AI. At least I would say for now.
Field worker jobs are something that cannot be replaced right now because if an individual has to visit a place and do some work, it cannot be replaced. AI can do all these magics only in the IT industry, but when it comes to other industries, there will be improvements because of AI, but there will not be a heavy job loss because of AI.
Time for the IT industry to lose some money
The
IT industry used to be one of the heavily paid industries, and with the advent of AI, many companies have started reducing their headcount and started hiring people who are freshers who can do the basic stuff with the help of AI. All these companies have one or two individuals in the team who are experienced and can take care of reviewing the code. This is how the IT industry is going to evolve.
Now that IT is going to go down, it is time for other industry people to see some innovation and grow. Maybe there will be a huge demand for non-IT jobs in the future and it cannot be completely replaced by AI.
