The new year is already going very well. I thought I would stop doing bigger power-ups in 2024 and take my Hive power to something else but I couldn't resist and powered up 1000 Hive today on the occasion of HPUD. Combining both my accounts, I have already reached over 105k Hive power. 100K Hive power was my goal for 2023 and I'm glad that I completed it and have been able to go more than that this year. I still don't have any new Hive power goal in my mind but I thought I would continue growing my Hive power further.
I'm not sure how long it can take to reach whale status but I'm happy with the current Orca status right now. My overall Hive Power ranking has also increased in the last 2 years. I remember seeing my ranking at around 550 before a year or two. Today when I checked it, I'm at around 186. This I think is a great feeling and soon I would like to get to the top 100. That's why I would like to continue pushing this further.
I initially thought that I would not be doing any massive power-ups this year but the price of Hive right now is very tempting and that is what is forcing me towards powering up more Hive Power. I initially thought I would not have any big Hive goals for the year but it is very confusing right now. Since the market itself is bad in general it can be good to invest in any altcoin. If the market picks up, I think the price will also start picking up. Swing trades are good. If we are lucky we can find a fortune over there.
Maybe I may not be able to do a 4-digit value every month but I guess it would be good to just invest 100 or 1000 if possible every month. This will not only improve my HP further but it will also give me motivation. Maybe before the end of this year, reaching close to 150k Hive power can be a decent goal and at the same time, it will also be nice if I can make some more money from my projects so that the growth can be faster.
The author rewards and curation rewards are almost similar compared to the last month. I believe if the price of Hive improves, we will be able to see great potential and increase in the value of the assets. I might liquidate some of my tokens and book some profits if the price of Hive is over 1$. If the price of Hive goes even further than 2 dollars or 3 dollars, I would be booking a profit on a major portion of my holdings.
It is already giving a great feeling to take a look at the stats. I have almost received close to 1000 HIVE power per month combining all the income sources. I had a few plans for some of my side projects but looks like I'm already getting very exhausted and I have to plan my work well. Hope the next month can be a good month for us.
