Learning has always been great for every successful individual. They continuously learn and put their learning into action. People who want to be successful also try to do a lot of learning, but they don't immediately put their learning into action. This is the biggest difference that one can see between a successful individual and someone who is willing to be successful.
Consuming information to use it
Information is usually everywhere. We can spend hours and hours of time learning something or consuming information. But the hours spent on the learning will go to waste if we don't put it into action. For example, if I'm going to be watching a lot of videos on having a pet horse, it is a nice thing to watch. But if I'm not going to buy a horse, all that I was watching becomes entertainment, and it may not be used at all.
Many people have this habit of learning many things by reading or watching videos. But if we observe it clearly, not all the learning stays forever in our minds. If we don't make use of any information that we learn, it will fade from our brains. Maybe initially it can look clear in the mind, but gradually it fades away if we don't put it into action or use it frequently.
Moving closer to goals
People who wish to achieve something usually think about their next goal. Even though they involve themselves in so many other things, their focus will always be on the next task that will take them closer to the goal they would like to achieve. Sometimes distractions are a common thing, but if we focus on our travel towards the goal, in spite of all the distractions, we will be able to continue moving towards the goal.
Learning from external sources helps. I would say that we cannot acquire all the knowledge from just experience alone. We have to learn from the experience of others, which can be done with lots of learning and making use of what we learn. It is important not to lose focus and learn only specific things that can get us closer to our goals. Other distractions can be reduced so that our focused learning is not disturbed.
