Recently, I switched to Airtel postpaid, and along with Airtel Postpaid, I received a number of additional features and perks. One of those features was the 100 GB Google One plan where I can share the storage with family members as well. This is very helpful because I currently pay for that, and it is good to see that as a perk given to me for at least 6 months. Along with that, other things like Hellotunes and Perplexity AI were also given.
I have heard about Perplexity AI, but to be very honest, I have not used it myself. Some of my friends said that it gives the results based on Realtime search, unlike other AI that gives the results based on already available data. This way, the results provided to us is not outdated. But I'm yet to explore and understand if it is useful for me or not. I have been extensively using Chat GPT for my tasks as a companion, where if I have any questions or doubts I reach out to Chat GPT. I'm satisfied with the answers I get but I would like to explore other AI options too to make sure I'm using the best one for my needs.
Good things about Perplexity
As I said, I don't have personal experience yet with Perplexity, but I have heard that it is good in providing up to date information on a topic. It does web searches internally and provides the results it seems. Instead of relying on existing knowledge, it summarizes based on real time facts, making it the most accurate. Even though the other AI are also keeping up with this. Even the recent update of Chat GPT can browse the web to provide accurate results. But mostly the results are generic. I would like to see specific and to-the-point results from Perplexity, which I think it does.
The Airtel postpaid connection that I recently got has access to Perplexity AI. I'm hoping to claim my 1-year license soon as soon as I'm ready to explore. It is believed that Perplexity can be a great solution or alternative for Google search. The main focus of that application is to provide the best search results for the users, and it can also give references based on the search done.
