It's graduation season, and everything that goes with it, from academic formalities to buying the right dress to celebrate the completion of studies—in my case, for my daughter, who is moving on from high school to the new stage of university. We are experiencing all these moments with my 17-year-old daughter, who finished high school with excellent grades, thank God. It has been a process, both for her and for us as parents and family, to accompany her throughout this journey and reach this day, which was the day the photos were taken to commemorate this achievement, her high school graduation.
Nowadays, it is customary for the different classes, from preschool, elementary school, and high school, to coordinate and organize a day at school where professional photos are taken in various locations. On this occasion, it was at the Centro Cultural la Estancia in Caracas, Venezuela, which is located in an old hacienda in Altamira, an emblematic place in our culture. There, everything is nature, wherever you look: flowers, trees, grass, and even some animal species that roam freely around the place. On this day, we were in the first group of students and their families, so early in the morning, everyone in the family got dressed up and headed to our long-awaited appointment.
It was my two remaining children, their dad, and me. We were all very happy, because it's not only our daughter's achievement, but also seeing how we grew together with her. At times like this, we realize how much our children have grown, in every way, physically and emotionally. For us as parents, it has been a journey full of sacrifice, time, and love to guide our daughter to this day. Besides, we are very proud of her for being an excellent student, so like the peacocks walking around the place, the whole family was strutting around with our girl.
We took advantage of the opportunity and took some more photos of her, in addition to the ones taken by the professional photographer, which are the ones I am sharing with you today with great affection. We enjoyed taking beautiful pictures of her in the different areas of this beautiful hacienda. Estamos en época de graduaciones escolares y todo lo que tenga que ver con ellas, desde las diligencias académicas, hasta la de comprar el vestido apropiado, para celebrar esa culminación de estudios, en mi caso para mi hija; para pasar de bachiller a la nueva etapa de la universidad. Todos estos momentos los estamos viviendo con mi hija de 17 años, quien culmino su bachillerato con excelentes notas, gracias a Dios; todo ha sido un proceso, tanto de ella como de nosotros como padres y familia para acompañarla durante todo ese trayecto y llegar hasta este día, que fue el de las tomas de las fotos para que queden para el recuerdo de este logro, de su promoción de bachiller.
Hoy día se estila que a los chicos de las diferentes promociones, de preescolar, primaria y bachillerato, en el colegio, se coordina y organiza un día, donde se les toma sus fotos profesionales, en diversas locaciones; en esta ocasión fue en los espacios del Centro Cultural la Estancia, en Caracas, Venezuela; cuyos espacios se encuentran ubicados en una vieja hacienda en Altamira, un lugar emblemático de nuestra cultura. Allí todo es naturaleza, por donde lo mires: flores, árboles, gramas y también hacen vida algunas especies animales, que pasean por el lugar libremente. Para este día, a nosotros nos tocó, en el primer grupo de estudiantes y sus familias, así es que desde temprano todos en la familia nos pusimos guapos y nos dirigimos a nuestra esperada cita.
Éramos mis dos hijos restantes, su papá y yo. Todos estábamos muy felices, pues no solo se trata de un logro de nuestra hija, sino que también es ver cómo juntos crecimos junto a ella. En momentos así, es que nos damos cuenta de lo mucho que se nos han crecido nuestros hijos, en todos los aspectos, física y emocionalmente. Para nosotros como padres ha sido un camino lleno de sacrificios, tiempo y amor para guiar a nuestra hija hasta este día. Aparte, nos sentimos muy orgullosos de ella, por ser una estudiante excelente; así es que como los pavos reales que andaban por el lugar, tal cual, andaba toda la familia pavoneándonos junto con nuestra muchacha.
Aprovechamos y, aparte, le sacamos otras fotos de las que ya le había sacado el fotógrafo profesional, que son las que les comparto con mucho cariño hoy. Nos dimos gusto sacándole hermosas imágenes en los diferentes espacios de esta hermosa hacienda. Espero que las disfruten, así como nosotros lo hicimos buscando los espacios idóneos para retratar nuestra felicidad y a nuestra pequeña luchadora, ¡saludos!!
