Hello everyone!
Hope all are safe and well! ☺️❤️🙏

It’s been a while since I last posted a travel blog, and I’m thrilled to share another chapter here on @worldmappin. Sometimes I think my stories never run out. There are still so many places I’ve visited, so much to remember and write about.
Today, I want to talk about my second trip to the Chocolate Hills in Bohol, a place that never fails to take my breath away.
On my first trip, I went with a friend. But on this second visit, I was with my sister-in-law, @flordecar26. We traveled from different directions, they came from Leyte, I came all the way from Cebu and we met in Bohol. I just stayed overnight. Because they had relatives there, it made everything more relaxed and meaningful. The next morning, we set off for the Chocolate Hills tour.
When we arrived at the Chocolate Hills Complex in Carmen, we paid the entrance fee to go up to the viewing deck. The entrance fee is ₱100 per person for local tourists. Going up was part of the adventure, from the base, you climb about more than 200 steps to reach the deck with panoramic views.

Here I am, with @flordecar26 and her sister, taking pictures in front of that breathtaking hill background.

You will noticed with these below pictures that I am promoting Manulife and Mandani bay. 🤭

Then came the iconic I ❤️ Chocolate Hills photo moment, with those rolling green or brown hills behind us that is depending on the season.

Looking at those hills again, those little brown domes hugging the horizon made me feel peaceful. The name Chocolate Hills comes from the fact that the grass covering them turns from lush green to chocolate brown in the dry season, giving them that sweet, earthy look. ❤️

Then came the hike, it's steep and real. We climbed up around more than 200 steps to get to the peak viewing deck. It was tiring, especially under the sun, but every gasp for air was worth it. The stairway had resting spots, thank goodness, so we could catch our breath and take in the view little by little.

When we reached the top, everything felt calm. The breeze was soft, the sky open, and the view is a rolling sea of hills in all directions. ❤️

From up there, you get a 360° panoramic view of hills as far as your eyes can see, all shaped so perfectly. It’s like stepping into another world. ❤️

We didn’t stay too long at the top because it was hot, but also windy. Heading down felt easier, and I felt a quiet joy in every step.

When we reached the base, we rested at what looked like a stone resting place. It reminded me of caves or underground river. A peaceful little sanctuary after the climb.

Going back up for another visit felt special. It is like returning to a dear old friend. The Chocolate Hills are more than a tourist spot to me. They are calm, timeless, and so beautifully strange. ❤️
The Chocolate Hills are a unique geological formation made of limestone shaped by erosion over millions of years. During the dry season, the grass covering them turns chocolate brown, which is how they got their name.
Visiting again reminded me that nature has its own way of making moments feel sacred. If you ever plan to go, bring a hat, umbrella, sunglasses and don’t forget sunscreen, because that climb can be real! 🤭
Thank you, Bohol, and especially Chocolate Hills, for welcoming me again with such beauty and calm. ❤️
Have a Blessed Saturday everyone! 😀😀😀💖💖💖
Thank You Lord for the blessings and love!
Be grateful in every little/simple things and you’ll find happiness you ever wanted! 😀😀😀
Everyday is worth to be grateful of!
Praying for the safety and wellness of all.
