Visiting the Forest in the City Center // The lungs of the city which is one of the popular natural tourist destinations in the city of Banda Aceh. How can there be a forest in the middle of the city.? And why is this place so popular.?

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

There are still many exciting moments that I got during my vacation to Banda Aceh, one of which was when I visited one of the forests in the city center, this place is also often called the Tibang Forest Park, Tibang is the name of the village, and this village is located in Syiah Kuala sub-district. The distance from Banda Aceh city to this forest is only about 7 kilometers and it only takes about 15 minutes by motorbike. Even though this forest is in the city center, this forest is still like a forest in general, and how exciting was I while I was in this forest.? This is what we will discuss thoroughly in this post.

Let's start

I visited this forest on the fourth day or my last day in Banda Aceh city, and exactly at half past four in the afternoon, actually I had also visited this forest a few months ago, but my curiosity about this place has not been fully answered, even if now I go on vacation again to Banda Aceh city, I will definitely visit this forest again, this forest has an area of about 7.5 hectares, and that is a very large size, so it is impossible for us to explore this forest as a whole in just three hours, of course there are still many places or areas that I have not visited, and this forest is still one of the tourist attractions that is still on my list of visits when I go on vacation again to Banda Aceh city.

From my uncle's house, it only took me about 10 minutes to get to this place by motorbike, and some of the pictures above are pictures that I took during the trip. And coincidentally the distance between this forest and the highway is only about 200 meters, so I got off the motorbike taxi when I arrived at the entrance to this forest.

We can enter this forest for free without any charges, but because the parking lot is close to the highway, there are already several parking attendants there, and the parking fee is very cheap, which is only IDR 5 in Indonesian currency, or equivalent to the current price of 1 hive.

But before actually entering the forest area, I first explored the parking area, because in that area there are many ornamental plants and amazing natural views.

When I explored this parking area, I also saw many oddities in this place which was said to be a car parking area, in this area there are many paths that connect one another, and in my opinion this parking area used to be a park. And in this area there are also many ornamental plants and colorful flowers, so the natural feel is very pronounced.

Of the many plants and trees in this area, there is one tree that really caught my attention, namely a tree with leaves like banana leaves, and its shape is like a fan, but I myself do not know the name of this tree, even the parking attendant there does not know its name Lol, for friends who know the name of the tree, please let me know in the comments column below.

After being satisfied exploring the parking area, I immediately walked to enter the forest area, and to enter the area I had to cross a small bridge first.

Even though the size of this bridge is relatively small, the design and architecture of this bridge looks very amazing, many people use this bridge as a background when they want to take photos, even according to the parking attendant there, a few months ago there were people who took wedding photos on this bridge.I really like the shape of this bridge, and it looks beautiful from any angle you look at it.

And not only that, because under this bridge there are several fish ponds that add to the beauty of this place, and this view really caught my attention and it would be a shame if I missed it.

And in this pond there are also many types of fish, but there is one type of fish that dominates this pond, namely tilapia.

Do you know, when I was on this bridge, there was a parking attendant there who approached me, the parking attendant there said that I had been back and forth several times in this bridge area and looked like a confused person, but I didn't realize it, because at that time I was only trying to focus on capturing the beauty offered by this place well, hearing the statement from the parking attendant made us laugh, I laughed while saying, calm down bro, I'm not crazy

After capturing the view from the bridge, I immediately walked into the forest area.

But to be honest, my body was very tired, so before exploring this forest area I decided to take a break first, and I immediately looked for a suitable place to rest.

Luckily in this main area I managed to find an empty hut, so I immediately approached the hut to rest, but from this area the natural atmosphere was already very pronounced, the lush trees and several plants looked very beautiful.I don't remember how long I spent resting in this empty hut, but what is certain is that I only continued my exploration when my body felt fresh again.

If I had not visited this place, I probably would not have believed that there was a forest in the middle of the city, this statement was immediately proven when I visited it directly. The reason this place is very popular is because it functions as the lungs of the city of Banda Aceh which can produce a lot of oxygen, and is one of the educational tourism destinations. This is just the main area of this forest, there are still many more areas that we can explore, and I will share those moments in my next post.

Well, those are some pictures and stories from me in this post, I really hope that this post can provide entertainment for all of my friends. All of these pictures are purely my own, I took this picture using an Infinix 10 Pro cellphone and edited this picture using the Lightroom application.

See you again in my next post ♥️
