Today I woke up very early because I had to take my mother to the hospital for a check-up and to get the results of yesterday's surgery, and after accompanying my mother in the hospital for about 2 hours, we were finally allowed to go home, so we went straight home to my uncle's house in Banda Aceh. At nine in the morning after taking my mother back to my uncle's house, I immediately asked my mother's permission to go for a walk to a park or protected forest in the center of Banda Aceh.
I myself initially did not know that in the center of Banda Aceh there was a protected forest and the one who told me about the place was my uncle, because my uncle has lived in Banda Aceh for a long time so there are many tourist attractions or historical places that he might know, and because of my great curiosity about the protected forest, I immediately made the trip at exactly 09.30 in the morning.
To make it easier for me on this trip, I again ordered an online motorcycle taxi service as my ride to the protected forest, a bright day started my travel activities this time. This trip, which was based on Google maps, immediately took me past the pen monument that I had visited before and I still captured its beauty.
Honestly, if I did this trip alone, I might have gotten lost in the city center because there are so many winding roads or crossroads in the city center, so on this trip I really trusted the online motorcycle taxi driver and hoped that this trip would arrive at its destination soon. Maybe about 25 minutes of travel, I finally arrived at the protected forest and the online motorcycle taxi dropped me off at the crossroads leading to the protected forest.
And according to the statement made by the online motorcycle taxi driver, the protected forest was indeed right in front of my eyes and I only needed to walk a few meters to reach the place or entrance gate to the protected forest, I immediately stepped towards the gate while capturing every beauty around me.
And what you see from the picture above is a park that is part of a protected forest, but the core of the protected forest is still a few meters away and I have to cross a bridge first to be able to enter the protected forest. After I walked about 100 meters, I finally arrived at the gate or ticket purchase place to enter the protected forest.
And one ticket to enter this protected forest is also very cheap, which is IDR 5,000 in Indonesian currency or around the price of 1 hive now, and because my visit to this protected forest was not on a holiday and I don't know whether the ticket will be more expensive on weekends or not, I don't know either.
And after being invited by the officer to enter the protected forest, I immediately took the time to capture some of the beauty of the park outside the protected forest first because its beauty also must be captured.
And I also had a chat with one of the officers there about the park outside this protected forest and according to the information I got from the officer, this park is a parking lot for visitors who come, because during holidays, visitors who visit this protected forest are very crowded and this park is used as a parking lot for motorbikes or cars.
From outside this protected forest I can already feel the fresh air and a very thick natural feel, considering that the location of this protected forest is indeed in the center of Banda Aceh city and that is why this protected forest is a very strategic place and is visited by many visitors, especially on holidays.
And after I captured some of the beauty of the park outside the protected forest, I immediately walked back to the main ticket purchase place to ask about the prohibitions that should not be done when entering the protected forest, and after getting very useful information from the officers there, I immediately walked into the protected forest, and before entering the protected forest I first had to cross a bridge which was the only bridge or access for me to be able to enter the protected forest.
And on this bridge there is also a banner that says "Hutan kota" Or in English, City Forest.
When I passed this bridge, I stopped again because of the beauty that I saw from the top of this bridge. This bridge was built with truly extraordinary architecture and made this bridge the center of my attention before actually entering this protected forest, so I took the time to capture some of the beauty from the top of this bridge.
And when I was really in the middle of this bridge, I could see some big pools that were right under this bridge, and also the water in the pools looked very thick or black, where the black color was caused by the many leaves that fell into the pool. The pools were not too big, but from my point of view, I had seen some pools that were around or at the gate to enter this protected forest.
The nuance of natural beauty is truly felt, I even forgot that I was in the city center of Banda Aceh, because what I saw before my eyes were not tall buildings or nice roads but rather parks and protected forests that have extraordinary natural wealth and are still well maintained.
And the size of this protected forest is very large so that I will most likely spend a lot of time to be able to capture every corner of the beauty of this protected forest, well because I really have to save time, so I did not linger any longer and started to walk to immediately enter this protected forest, I walked until I crossed this bridge.
And when I started to set foot on the land of this protected forest, the first thing I saw were signs that clearly contained prohibitions on what should not be done when entering this protected forest.
But before I actually entered and explored this protected forest, suddenly my stomach felt really sore, so I had no choice but to go back to the ticket counter to go to the toilet first, and this is really annoying when I'm travel Lol.
