Today I went back to Bireuen city. The main purpose of the trip was to shop for various necessities, but because I had a lot of free time, I decided to visit several popular tourist attractions in the city center. Indeed, Bireuen city is my birthplace, so there are many tourist attractions that I may have visited and explored, but of course there are several new tourist attractions that I have never visited at all.
On this occasion I also had time to think about the tourist attractions that I would visit, so that it crossed my mind about a very popular place and a historical place in the city center, namely the Bireuen city museum. because I have visited this place before so I already know the location and the right way to get to this place.
Maybe only about 5 minutes from the center of Bireuen I have arrived at this historical place. And when I arrived at this place I immediately parked my motorbike in front of the parking lot that had been provided in this place, and because it was the fasting month so this place looked deserted.
This is a house or building that is made as unique as possible and the architecture and design of this house are made to resemble a traditional Acehnese house, and when I started exploring this place I saw some small children doing their schoolwork in this place, apart from that there were no other visitors in sight.
Because this place is a Bireuen city museum, it is not surprising that in the building area there are many antique or historical items in this building, and this building also has two floors, but during my visit this time the second floor was closed, so I could only explore the first floor.
On the 1st floor I can see a lot of photos of heroes to antique and historical objects, basically all the items in the area below are all antique and historical. And as soon as I entered this building I immediately felt like I was in the past, because everything I saw was related to the past, starting from the architecture of the building to several other items.
And in the cupboard we can also see certificates to several important documents related to the history of Aceh, and in this cupboard we can also see items such as cups, statues, plates, to items that have very unique shapes. but behind all that there is something very unfortunate in my opinion, namely the size of this place is very small, a place like this should have a large size so that it can accommodate many valuables and accommodate many visitors who want to come to this place.
After I was satisfied exploring the inside of this building, I immediately went outside to explore the garden area.
The size of this park is also very small, but I really admire the officers or people who designed this place, because they were able to utilize the small space well.Even though it is small, this park still looks very beautiful and attractive, with views that offer a natural atmosphere that is still natural, making this place feel very comfortable and calm.
And behind this park we can also see several small monuments that have been designed in such a way that they can fit in this area.
However, all of these are just replica monuments of several very famous and historic monuments in Bireuen City, such as the replica of the King Jeumpa monument. The original King Jeumpa Monument is located in Blang Seupeung Village, Jeumpa District and several other replica monuments.
And what is even more unique is that in a place this small there is also a park for children to play in, and there are several game rides such as swings, rotating chairs and several other types of rides.
I can't imagine this place when it's crowded, maybe some little kids will be fighting to play there Lol .and I also don't know how many visitors this place can accommodate, but considering the size of this place is not that big, maybe the number of visitors will also be limited.
But behind all that, there is one place that really amazes me and makes me very interested in its uniqueness and beauty, namely a place that has been designed as attractively as possible and has become a favorite place for people who want to take pictures in that place because it has a very beautiful background.
Of course, this is a very suitable place to take pictures with friends, family or with a partner, this place looks beautiful because there are several green plants that have been designed on all sides, making it a very beautiful background.
And for people who want to travel to a place that makes them flashback to the past and makes them calm, maybe this place is one of the recommendations that is very suitable to visit, even though this place is small in size, but in my opinion this place is enough to make us feel satisfied and happy.
Maybe I only spent about 30 minutes exploring this place, and after that I went straight home. And keep in mind, this place is the Bireuen Museum, which is definitely the most historical place, because it stores all the items, up to important documentation about the history of Bireuen city.
This place is also open to the public, so anyone can visit this place, and one entrance ticket is around Rp. 15,000 in Indonesian currency per adult.In my opinion, the only downside to this place is its small size, otherwise everything looks perfect.
