Takengon City Park // Child-friendly park tourist destination.

in Worldmappinlast month

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

In this post I will share some pictures and stories of my trip to visit Takengon city park, yes the name is Takengon city park, this park is located in the middle of the city center, so it would be a shame if we missed this one park when visiting Takengon, and why is this park often called a child-friendly park.? Well this will also be a very exciting topic for us to discuss thoroughly here.

Let's start

Aman Dimot monument park or more often called Takengon city park is a very popular playground in Takengon city, this park provides a lot of play facilities especially for children, so this park is named a child-friendly park. Its location is also in the city center so we can stop by anytime without having to travel far to visit it, many tourists stop by this park to rest, especially those who travel with their families.

Our main purpose in visiting this park was to rest, after being tired from traveling a long way to visit the Kalanami Park, in my opinion this park is also a great place to rest before leaving the city of Takengon.

After arriving at this park, we immediately parked our motorbike in the parking lot provided there. Coincidentally, this park is also located next to the grand mosque of Takengon city, so before entering this park, I also took the time to photograph the splendor of this mosque first.

There are also many people selling things on the edge of the park, so there is no need to worry if we forget to buy supplies. Some of my friends immediately bought food there, but I went straight into the park to start exploring it.

This is the main area that I visited, the reason is because I heard the noisy voices of children who turned out to be riding toy cars or in my area often called odong-odong. Of the many visitors in this park, children are the most numerous, this has now been answered, namely because in every corner of the park there must be children's play rides, so many children feel at home when visiting this park.

Of the many children's play rides, this is the one that is least popular, namely the drawing and painting rides, even though painting is something that is very exciting (for me).In addition, this vehicle also trains children's thinking and focus, but here lies the role of parents in educating their children.

After leaving this area, I immediately walked towards the left side of the park, because there was a children's play area there, namely a mini slide made of balloons.

This is the most popular ride, but because the size of the slide is small, children have to queue to be able to play in it, everything looks very exciting and fun, I can see the happiness on the faces of the children and parents who are watching their children. Because I am not married, so I can only watch and capture this moment lol

In this park there are also small cars that can be driven by children, and each has its own track.

After being satisfied with capturing several children's rides, I immediately walked towards the center of the park, where there are also two monuments, each of which has its own uniqueness and characteristics.

To be honest, I don't know the history behind this monument at all, but if you look closely at the bottom of this monument, there is a painting of a map of Indonesia, and if you look up, you can see that the tip of this monument resembles the tip of a knife.

And besides this monument we will also be able to see another monument which is much larger in size with a much more beautiful shape and architecture.

Apart from its shape, I also like the combination of paint which looks quite tempting, namely red, white, and yellow, and everything will be much more beautiful when we start to approach this monument closer.

To get a more amazing picture, I was willing to go around this monument and take pictures from several different angles so that it shows the different appearance and architecture of the monument. I don't know if this monument has a second floor or not, but what is certain is that on the first floor I can see an empty area or room, but I chose not to approach it. Some of my friends who were satisfied with resting immediately ran to approach this monument to take pictures in front of this monument. My partner and I had not rested at all when we arrived at this place, and now it was time for us to buy our favorite snacks and rest in this park while waiting for our friends who were taking pictures in front of the monument.

From inside this park I can also see the magnificent dome of the mosque, so my curiosity arose to visit the mosque, but because there was little time left, so I had to discuss it first with my friends, and the result was that many of my friends did not agree because of time constraints, and they convinced me to visit the mosque on my next visit to Takengon city, I felt like a kid being coaxed Lol

And this was also the last place we visited before we really left the city of Takengon, even though our time was very limited, I was very satisfied to be able to visit, capture, and tell this moment here.
