In this post I will share my experience when visiting a village full of surprises, namely Bintang village, I have often shared my experience when visiting this village and this has been a very pleasant experience, until now Bintang village is still my most favorite village in the city of Takengon, the people in the village are famous for being very friendly, they will welcome and always smile to every visitor who comes to this village, besides this village we can also see amazing natural views and find many tourist destinations that are under the foot of the mountains or on the edge of the tawar sea, it is not satisfying if you travel to the city of Takengon without visiting this village, for me Bintang village is heaven on earth.
This is a view that I managed to capture when I was going down the hilly road, from a distance I could see a village standing at the foot of the mountains and this was a view that looked quite interesting, actually this view would be much clearer if we saw it from the top of the hill, but at that time I was a little late in realizing it.
I can't imagine how exciting it must be for those who live in this village, surrounded by towering mountains and able to enjoy this view at any time. The average temperature in Takengon is around 14 ℃, which is quite cool compared to other areas in Aceh,the atmosphere in this village is also very cool and refreshing, but it will make you shiver at night (for those not used to cold temperatures).
In some areas we can see two different forms of natural appearance simultaneously, namely the ocean and mountains, for people who like the atmosphere of the sea they can enjoy it to their heart's content here, it is not an excuse because for mountain lovers they can also enjoy it here, I myself like both.
As usual, when I visit Takengon, I definitely spend more time in this village than in other areas.I often spend time walking around this village, meeting many new people and and enjoy the natural scenery in every corner of the village. Don't worry, this village also has many tourist attractions, from cafes to outdoor tourist destinations like Pante Menye.
One of them is a Dermaga tourist destination or more people call it Pante Menye. Pante Menye itself comes from the Gayo language (one of the tribes in Aceh) which means spoiled beach, of course this name was given because the natural scenery in this place is very amazing, especially the view of the tawar sea to the view of the towering mountains behind it.
And this is the view from the villas at Cafe Bintang Resort. Bintang Resort is a cafe that is quite popular in the city of Takengon, many people are willing to travel far just to visit this cafe, from the main road these villas look neat standing at the foot of the mountains.
According to the information I got from one of the locals, this is the place called the original Pante Menye, this is an open tourist area that has a floating floor, what makes this building look so interesting is because of its design which displays curves that are directly inspired by the surrounding nature.
Apart from being a tourist spot, this place is also often used by local people as a ship port and also a boat parking area, but if we search for the name Pante Menye on Google, what comes up is a new tourist spot called Dermaga, I am a little confused by this conflicting information, I don't know which one is right or wrong.
The point is, if we visit this building, we will be able to find the name Pante Menye next to this place, and this is one of the reasons why I am quite sure that this is the original Pante Menye building, but I don't mind this because the most important thing is that in this place I get a lot of exciting moments and can also enjoy every beautiful natural panorama to my heart's content.
