Why is it only night that can end my journey? This is what I feel right now, I spend some of my time traveling, traveling and traveling, for me it is the most powerful way to get satisfaction, happiness and eliminate negative thoughts, but when night comes I immediately take the opportunity to rest, because I think enough rest is at night.
In this post I will share my experience about my trip in the city center of Banda Aceh which ended at night, actually before arriving at this moment, I had visited several tourist attractions in the center or near the city center of Banda Aceh. More precisely, this is my trip that I deliberately spent to enjoy the sunset while waiting for the night to come and coincidentally at that time I was indeed in the city center.
When visiting several tourist attractions in the city center, I choose to visit them on foot, this is indeed very tiring but also provides many positive benefits for my body, but I often feel tired when I have visited many places, so I also often stop when I have found a suitable place for me to rest.
Like when I passed a city park on the side of the road, I stopped by this park to rest because in this park there were several chairs provided for visitors.
This is the uniqueness of Banda Aceh City, behind the many towering buildings, busy community activities, but in this city we can still find mini parks on the side of the road, each park has its own characteristics but all are suitable places to simply enjoy the natural atmosphere while resting.
After getting enough rest, I immediately continued my journey. I also often passed through roads that I usually pass through, and there were many things, moments, objects that I had already immortalized, but sometimes when I saw them from a different angle, I was interested in immortalizing them again.
At that time I knew it was already evening and the sunlight had begun to emit orange light, but I still walked slowly and enjoyed every event that happened. When passing the road on the edge of Bustanussalatin Park, suddenly the sunlight dazzled my eyes, as if reminding me to immediately capture its beauty
From that road it only took me about 10 minutes to get to the highway, and when I got there I saw many objects that seemed to have changed color, and this was due to the light of the setting sun, some objects became very interesting to photograph.
The charm of the sunset was less clear at this point, so I finally decided to cross the road in the hope of seeing the charm of the sunset with a perfect view.
When I was crossing the road, I stopped in the middle of the road, right at the road divider, because from this point I could see the charm of the sunset clearly, and this light was quite strong and impossible for us to see it for a long time with the naked eye, but what about the conditions of the drivers who were also pass this way?
Time continued to pass and over time the beautiful charm of the sunset also slowly disappeared and only left a calm atmosphere that was starting to get dark, in the middle of the silence of the city I continued walking until I arrived at the mini park in front of the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque, in this area I also had time to rest for a moment.
While resting, I also took the time to photograph some objects that I thought were beautiful to look at. I rested for about five minutes and after that I immediately continued my journey, actually this journey had no destination because at that time I was just waiting for night to come.I keep walking, but sometimes I'm curious to look back, and what always makes me curious is the sunset.
I don't remember how many meters I walked that day, but it was definitely very far. After leaving the Baiturrahman Grand Mosque area, I finally arrived at a bridge, and the lights on the side of the bridge had also been turned on and it probably only took a few more minutes for the lights to look very beautiful in the dark of the night.
When I was in the middle of the bridge, I stopped for a moment to capture the beauty offered by this river, but because it was already dark, my visibility was really limited, so to photograph this river, my cellphone camera had to work optimally.
I realized that night had arrived when my visibility was very limited, and the lights along the road were already brightly illuminating the road, but at that time there was no desire to go home in my heart at all, all I wanted was to keep walking and keep walking.
From the bridge area, it only took me about 10 minutes to reach the "Simpang Lima" monument in Banda Aceh city.
This is one of the most iconic monuments in Banda Aceh city, everyone who visits Banda Aceh city will definitely be able to see this monument because this monument is located in the middle of the main road of the city. Well, from this point suddenly my legs started to feel cramps, maybe because of the effects of the long journey, so I immediately ordered a taxibike and immediately made my way back to my uncle's house.
