What comes to your mind when you hear the word forest in the middle of the city center? Maybe it sounds a little unreasonable, but that's the reality and I myself was very surprised and confused by the existence of a protected forest in the center of Banda Aceh.
This protected forest is only 7 km from the center of Banda Aceh and this is not a very far distance because if you use a motorbike, the distance only takes about 15 minutes. And when I set foot in this protected forest, I became even more curious about the contents of this forest and continued to read this post until the end because there will be an interesting story in it, Enjoy
This is a monument that we can see when we first enter the protected forest area, and the weather at that time was very hot but when I was in this forest everything felt cloudy or dark because of the many wild trees that were still growing and well-maintained in this forest. I don't know when the last rain fell in this place but I could see puddles of water on the road even though it was in this forest.
A little information that I got from the officers here is that this protected forest has a very large size and it takes hours to be able to explore it in its entirety, even according to the officers there in this protected forest there is also a mangrove forest which of course has a large swamp, hearing this made me even more curious about the entire contents of this protected forest, so I continued walking to be able to capture every beauty that I saw.
The very hot sun certainly makes the weather very hot, but on the other hand when I am in this forest, I can breathe the fresh air and the distinctive aroma of nature that I usually breathe in the village again in this forest, the atmosphere is very calm and still very beautiful, even the interesting sound of birds chirping can be heard clearly in both my ears, making this place really like a forest in general.
Even when I was in this forest, I didn't hear any noise from motorbikes or cars. All I heard was the sound of the wind blowing through the big trees and the sounds of the flora and fauna that live in this forest.
The further I explored this forest, the more surprises I got, because in this forest there is also a children's playground and of course that really surprised me.
Children's playground
Even though when I visited this protected forest it was not a holiday, there were still people visiting this place and it was seen that in this children's playground there were several people doing their activities.
When viewed from a distance, the children's playground may still feel incomplete or imperfect, so to capture this beautiful moment, I decided to walk closer to the children's playground.
My brain had just digested the existence of a protected forest in the middle of the city, but I was surprised again because in this forest there was a children's playground. Of course this made me hesitate between believing and not believing.
However, everything I managed to find turned out to exist and be real, and for the existence of this protected forest I feel very satisfied and must say thank you very much to my uncle who told me about the existence of this protected forest.
This protected forest, which is very large in size, would certainly be very tiring to explore it in its entirety, so I am not in a hurry to explore it, and when I feel tired, I will immediately rest to save energy.
And what makes me even more interested in this protected forest is that in the forest there are complete facilities such as toilets, rest houses and other public facilities. And that is very good and very beneficial, especially for visitors who come from far away.
In fact, this forest is also very well maintained and will always be cleaned every day to avoid the accumulation of garbage that can pollute the surrounding environment, and I even had the chance to meet a woman who was on duty cleaning this forest area.
I can't tell you every detail of the inside of this forest, so I decided to share a lot of pictures so that all my friends can judge for themselves the condition of the inside of this forest which is right in the middle of the city center of Banda Aceh.
The main thing I did while in this protected forest was that I tried to enjoy the natural beauty and natural nuances that still looked very pristine and natural, and I also tried to capture every beauty and unique detail presented in this protected forest, so I kept walking while capturing the beauty of this place well.
And I kept walking and entered this protected forest very far until I arrived at a suspension bridge.
Tajuk Bridge
This bridge is not very big and maybe only three people can cross it and this bridge also goes uphill and it seems like this bridge is very long, previously I didn't know where this bridge would lead but what is certain is that this bridge goes uphill
Because of my great curiosity, I kept walking and walking along this bridge that went up, until I finally arrived at the end of the bridge.
And it turns out that this bridge has an L-shape, and there is no other way than to turn right and head towards the descending bridge, but before going down the bridge, I first took the time to take a few photos on this bridge for moments and memories for the future.
After feeling that I had captured enough of the beauty of the beautiful men near this bridge, I had the stomach or idea to immediately walk down this bridge, but the beauty of this place is really very beautiful and so stunning that it would be a shame if I missed every detail of the beauty presented by this place.
Although initially this place was known as a protected forest, the beauty and naturalness of this place is truly preserved and very clean, so that the natural feel of this place is truly felt.
