Exploring the Park which is the Center for Preserving Acehnese Culture(Safiatuddin Park)

in Worldmappin7 days ago

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

Maybe the name of Taman Safiatuddin is already familiar to me, because every time I visit the city of Banda Aceh, I will definitely take the time to visit this park, and in my opinion this is not just a park, but also a very suitable place to visit for people who want to get to know more closely the diversity of Acehnese culture. However, when we have entered the area of this park, the most important thing that we will see is the many classic buildings that have different shapes but still have extraordinary architectural value, and the building is the Pavilion. The pavilion in this place itself is a replica of the traditional house typical of each region in Aceh, so we don't need to go around Aceh just to see the traditional house because in this park everything is available and we can see every detail to its perfect shape.

This is my visit to Safiatuddin Park a few weeks ago, when I was still in Banda Aceh, and I have also shared some of my experiences when I visited this park in my previous post, but there are so many pavilions in this place, so I have to share them in stages. In this post itself I will share four pavilions, and they come from the Aceh Singkil area, Banda Aceh City,Aceh Utara, and Lhokseumawe City.

And we will start from the Pavilion that originates from Aceh Singkil first.

This pavilion caught my attention from the architecture to the colors that decorate this house. This pavilion itself has two floors and the main room is on the second floor, while on the first floor there are only pillars and ordinary floors, as usual to go up to the second floor we can go up through the stairs that have also been made and designed as attractively as possible.

Unlike other pavilions, this pavilion has a very large yard so it can be maximized by adding some other decorations such as fish ponds and statues.

But unfortunately the pool is dry and I don't see a single drop of water, and we can see the crocodile whose mouth is always open because it is probably waiting for water Lol.

And it should also be noted that the distance between one pavilions and another is not too far, maybe only around 50 m, so of course it will be very easy to explore each pavilions in Safiyatuddin Park.

And now let's see the beauty of the second pavilion, namely the pavilion that comes from the main area in Aceh, namely the city of Banda Aceh.

Of the many pavilion that I have seen, it is very rare to find a pavilion that is 100% made of concrete, I thought the pavilion from the city of Banda Aceh would have a very great surprise, but it turned out that it did not match my expectations. This pavilion is far from classic or traditional, but rather more of a modern design, but don't be mistaken, because this pavilion still looks beautiful and very amazing.

Even though there is no classic feel, this building still has a very high architectural value, starting from the unique shape of the building to the color of the paint that is given, it also looks very beautiful, even the shape of this pavilion is also my dream shape if I want to build a house later.

However, the location of the Banda Aceh city pavilion is very strategic, yes, it is at an intersection that leads to the park or field where the performance or stage is held. So if we live at the Banda Aceh city pavilion, we will definitely be able to see a beautiful view towards the field or stage, especially when there is a performance.

The yard of the field is also very spacious and can accommodate many people or visitors, and what's more interesting is that the field is also surrounded by pavilions which make it a very beautiful view.

And next to the Banda Aceh city pavilion, we will be able to see the pavilion from Aceh Utara .

In this pavilion we will be able to see its shape which is very thick with classic or traditional nuances, starting from its shape to the materials used to build this building which is almost 100% made of wood. And this pavilion also has a very classic paint color and this building has two floors like the previous pavilion, and in order for us to see its beauty more deeply then we have to go up to the 2nd floor but coincidentally at that time the door was locked so I could not enter the pavilion, and I could only enjoy its beauty from the outside.

Now let's take a look at the pavilion of Lhokseumawe city

I don't know how many floors this pavilion has, because its shape is almost similar to the pavilion from the city of Banda Aceh, namely both have a modern feel, but if you look closely, this pavilion also has two floors and again, I can only enjoy the beauty of this pavilion from the outside.

However, it should also be noted that there are several platforms that are already occupied, for example if there are people coming from North Aceh or Lhokseumawe City to Banda Aceh City, then they can occupy the platform with several provisions that must be adhered to such as maintaining the cleanliness of the platform and not damaging the facilities in it. (According to information I obtained from several residents around Taman Safiatuddin.)

Well, those are some pictures and stories from me in this post, I really hope that this post can provide entertainment for all of my friends. All of these pictures are purely my own, I took this picture using an Infinix 10 Pro cellphone and edited this picture using the Lightroom application.

See you again in my next post ♥️

It's interesting to see those unique buildings. I prefer the ones that are wooden with some intricate details. Probably they were designed for extended families and rich families in the past or designed for special events.
