My vacation in Banda Aceh city is over, I managed to get a lot of experience from the vacation and this is also one of the things that might change my perspective on a historical place that I want to visit next. After arriving in Bireuen city, I immediately thought of visiting several historical tourist attractions around Bireuen city, but making a trip also requires a lot of money and time, maybe this is one of the obstacles for me after a vacation to Banda Aceh city.
Yesterday I decided to take a trip to Bireuen city, my main goal was to visit the cultural heritage park located around the city center. To be honest, I also visited this park a few months ago and this is my second visit, what are the changes?, let's see after I get there.
I made this trip at three in the afternoon, a bit late because I had a lot of homework to finish first so I had to maximize my time. When I arrived in the city center, I stopped at several places such as shops to buy some supplies, and I also stopped around the Bireuen monument area to capture it.
I didn't have much time, so I decided not to explore the area of this monument and decided to go straight to my destination. The distance from this monument to my destination was only about 50 meters, but because at that time I was still using a motorbike, so I had to take a detour first.
My destination was the cultural heritage park, but the locals often call this place Pendopo or Meuligo, even I myself often call this place Pendopo Bireuen. Arriving in front of the area, I immediately entered the area to look for a place to park my motorbike first.
After parking my motorbike, I immediately walked to the security post with the aim of buying a ticket, and it turned out that there was no charge to enter this area, aka free. And when I was in this park, my eyes immediately fell on two main buildings that looked very interesting
Those are the two main buildings, and this is not an ordinary building because it used to be the residence of the first president of Indonesia, Ir. Soekarno, and it should be noted that the city of Bireuen was also the capital of Indonesia in 1948 but only for one week, and now the building is used as a place to store unique, antique, and of course historical items, and we can also go inside the building to see it more deeply, but on this visit I chose not to go inside and only explored the garden area.
And what's more interesting is that this building has a very large yard and is also often used as a place to hold big events such as festivals, art performances and several other big events. Until now, if I go to Bireuen city on Sunday, I always see an event held in this park, but I don't know what the name of the event is.
In front of the park there are also several large trees that can provide a cool and peaceful atmosphere, besides that I also managed to find a monument with an ancient cannon on top, but there is no information that I can read about the monument, and I only need to walk a few more steps to get to the main park.
In this park area, the atmosphere looks very green, as if I were in a beautiful plantation, there are lots of ornamental plants, flowers and well-maintained garden grass, everything looks perfect in my eyes.
And in this park there is also a monument designed to resemble a blooming flower with golden yellow paint.
There were also several other visitors around the park, and I also had the chance to ask for a little information about this flower monument, and they didn't know either, so I didn't manage to get any information at all about this monument.
But if you look at its shape, this monument looks very interesting, its size is quite large and has a height of about 2 meters, I had time to climb up the concrete just to be able to capture it in detail. Honestly, I am very curious about the information about this monument and I will find out the information as soon as possible.
And beside this monument there are also several garden decorations which in my opinion are also very worthy of being immortalized.
I am amazed by this park, even though its size is relatively small, every detail is very well thought out so that it gives a very pleasant sensation when we explore it, and it doesn't stop here, because in this park there is also a playground for children, so this park is also very suitable to visit with family.
I don't remember how long I spent in this park, but I didn't think too much about it because if it wasn't already night, then I still had time to have fun.
After exploring the entire park, I can conclude that this park is very worthy of being named a very historic park in Bireuen City because it holds thousands of stories and history in it, even though I only got a little information, but believe me I will continue to study it.
