Exploring forest tourist attractions in the city center of Banda Aceh // Educational tourism filled with a pleasant natural atmosphere

in Worldmappinlast month

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ♥️

In this post I will share a valuable experience of mine when I explored the forest in the center of Banda Aceh. You need to know, this place used to be an empty land due to the 2024 Aceh tsunami, and was built right in 2010, in this forest there are thousands of trees that were planted by the people of Banda Aceh, even the 6th president of Indonesia also participated in efforts to preserve this place, and this place was successfully built thanks to the cooperation of Bank BNI (Bank Negara Indonesia) with the Banda Aceh city government (I got this information from the officer at this place )

When entering the forest area, I first looked for a suitable place to rest, and luckily I managed to find an old hut right in the main area of the forest, I rested for about 10 minutes, and after I felt enough and my body was fresh again, I immediately rushed to explore this forest area.

I started this exploration from a main monument, and from this area we will be confused by the many branching roads, but because I have explored this forest once, so I am already a little familiar with each road in this forest, at that time I just chose the straight road, because this road will lead to the mangrove forest.

As I said earlier, in this forest there are thousands of trees, and the most numerous tree is the rain tree, there are many reasons why this tree is the main choice, namely because this tree grows very fast, and can grow even without care. In this forest I can feel the natural atmosphere that is so refreshing, the road is good and filled with many trees on each side of the road, and what is even more surprising is that in this forest there is also a volleyball court and a racket court.

But I didn't see anyone in the field area, this place is also clean from plastic waste, so there is nothing that can spoil this beautiful view. I continued along this path until I arrived at the children's play area.

The children's play area also looked very quiet, but I was not surprised because I visited this place not on a holiday, but according to the officer there, even though it was not a holiday, this place would still be crowded in the afternoon, but at that time it was already four in the afternoon, but I saw that there were still few visitors.

In this area there are also many play facilities, ranging from slides, swings, rocking chairs, seesaws, basically these facilities are enough to make children play to their heart's content.Seeing the ride made me really want to try it, but from a distance there was a husband and wife looking at me, considering my age as an adult, I was a bit embarrassed to try it Lol.

And not far from the children's playground, I managed to find a puddle of water that was not too big, but I was very interested in approaching the puddle, the reason was because in the puddle there were lots of lotus plants.

The size is indeed not big, but the beauty of this plant makes the environment look more alive, and in this puddle of water it can also provide many benefits for the many species that live in this place, and in this puddle of water there are also fish, and the fish that really dominates is the tilapia.

In this forest there are also very complete facilities such as prayer rooms, toilets, huts as resting places, signs, but the drawback is that there are no food stalls in this place, so if we want to visit this place, it is highly recommended to bring supplies from outside.

After leaving the waterlogged area, I immediately walked along the path. I knew this path would take me to the mangrove forest, but the natural scenery in this place made me very interested in capturing it.

After walking for about 5 minutes, I finally arrived at the Jala intersection, if I chose the straight path, I would arrive at the mangrove forest, but if I chose to turn left, I would arrive at a V-shaped bridge. After thinking for a moment, I finally chose the path that turned left.

I don't really understand what the purpose of building this bridge is, maybe this bridge is only used as a place to take us to a higher place so we can see a wider and clearer view.

This bridge is shaped like the letter V and as soon as I reached the corner of the bridge, I met some girls who were hanging out there, they were very anti-camera and they even strictly forbade me from taking their pictures, but because they were very friendly, I took a little time to chat with them for a while.

After chatting for a while, I immediately continued my exploration by going down the bridge.

I don't know exactly how high this bridge is, but what is certain is that when we are on this bridge we can see a wider natural view, this bridge is also built as attractively as possible so that it will attract the interest of visitors who come to this place.

Arriving under the bridge, I rested again while deciding which path I would take next, the many intersections made me confused to choose, but my next destination was to visit the mangrove forest directly. My experience when visiting the mangrove forest was also very exciting and I will share that experience in my next post.

Well, those are some pictures and stories from me in this post, I really hope that this post can provide entertainment for all of my friends. All of these pictures are purely my own, I took this picture using an Infinix 10 Pro cellphone and edited this picture using the Lightroom application.

See you again in my next post ♥️
