A historical place that is now a park in the city center of Banda Aceh // Putroe Phang Park which was built by Sultan Iskandar Muda in the 17th century,Aceh.

in Worldmappinyesterday

Good night to all my beloved hive friends ❤️

Putro Phang Park is a very famous park in the city center of Banda Aceh, this place is one of the tourist destinations that offers a calm, peaceful atmosphere and beautiful scenery and of course the location is still in the city center of Banda Aceh. This park itself was built by Sultan Iskandar Muda in the 17th century, the purpose of building this park was as a form of his love for his wife named Putro Phang, formerly this park was called Taman Gairah and over time, the name of this park changed to Taman Putro Phang (I got this information from the officers there)

I really like traveling to the city of Banda Aceh because in that city I can find many beautiful places and of course they are inseparable from their strong history, especially some parks in the city center. This is my 3rd visit to this park, but each visit will definitely give a different impression and experience because of some differences that I can find and feel.

I arrived at this park exactly at half past four and at that time the sun had started to show its orange light but some objects were still clearly visible and the reality of its beauty was increasingly apparent.

There are two gates to enter this park, but there is one gate that is always open day and night, and this park area also has a large parking area and there is no parking fee at all, so this is a public park that anyone can visit but must follow some simple rules.

When I first came to this park, I didn't immediately rest because there was one area that always caught my attention to visit when I first arrived at this park, namely a small corridor with concrete and a roof above it. When I first visited this place, I could see some vines on this roof, but now the trees are withered and dry.

For photographers, this place might be very suitable to be used as a background, I have even seen several people doing photo shoots in this area, such as people celebrating graduation, pre-wedding photos, or several photos that require the help of a photographer. And my hope for this area is that the staff here will replant some vines to add to the beauty and natural feel.

After leaving this area, I immediately walked towards the seating area that looked like a small stage.

But during my visit to this park, I always saw the water in the river receding, but I don't know whether during the rainy season the river water is full or remains the same. Some anglers take advantage of this opportunity to fish there, and the fish that are the main habitat in this river are tilapia, but before approaching some anglers, first look for some chairs to rest.

Every visitor will definitely get a seat because in this park there are many seats in every corner of the park, but there are seats that are always full, namely those on the edge of the river, the reason is because from these seats we can see the view of the river to the Pinto Khop monument which is the main object of this park.

But approaching the anglers is a very fun thing in my opinion, because I myself also have the same hobby, namely fishing, according to several statements from the anglers there, they will easily be able to get some fish because there are so many fish in this river, hearing this statement makes my fishing soul unbearable, maybe another time I will come back here again with a fishing rod lol.

After chatting for a while with the fishermen there, I immediately continued my main goal of exploring this park, and I immediately walked towards the bridge that would take me to the next park or children's playground.

But the beautiful view beside this bridge managed to stop me in my tracks, its beauty can be seen from the view of the river to the Pinto Khop monument.

After passing through the bridge area, I arrived at an area where there were still many large trees with an environment that still looked very natural. The path in this park can provide a very calm and comfortable atmosphere when we pass through it.

On this road I also managed to find a road that turned towards the river, with curiosity I followed the road and when I arrived at the end of the road I was immediately amazed by the view presented there.

From the end of this road we can see the expanse of the river very clearly, as well as the view of the main object, namely the Pinto Khop monument, but if we only see it once, we may not find anything else interesting from the pictures above, because several objects such as monuments and trees can be seen clearly from the reflection of the water which adds to the impression of the beauty of the picture.

I took a break in this area for a few minutes, and after that I walked straight back to the children's playground area.

When I first arrived at this park, I immediately realized that there would be many visitors in this place, as evidenced by the many vehicles parked in the parking lot, but when I entered the main area, I did not see many visitors and it turned out that visitors were already in the children's playground area, they looked very happy while watching their children playing in the park.

Since I don't have kids yet, I didn't stay long in this area and decided to continue exploring. I kept walking until I came to a path with an abandoned pond on the side of the road.

I don't know the main reason why this fish pond was abandoned, but I immediately left the fish pond area when I saw the Pinto Khop monument was very close to my position.

In order to capture every detail of the beauty offered by this monument, I chose to go straight into the monument area, and to be clearer, all my friends can read a little information that has been written on a small monument, and this writing will provide a little information about the history of the creation of this park.

I don't know for sure how big this monument is, but what is certain is that this monument has a hole or door in the middle of the monument area, and history says that this door leads to the royal palace area during the reign of Sultan Iskandar Muda, but the door is very small, I even had to bend down a little when entering it.

And what caught my attention the most was the white paint color, so that this monument can be seen from a distance even at night with several lights always shining on this monument.

And after capturing some of the beauty offered by this monument, I chose to leave it immediately and walk to some chairs to rest again, I rested while sipping a bottle of fresh drink and also continued to look at and enjoy all the beauty offered by this park, it was truly a very impressive visit.

Well, those are some pictures and stories from me in this post, I really hope that this post can provide entertainment for all of my friends. All of these pictures are purely my own, I took this picture using an Infinix 10 Pro cellphone and edited this picture using the Lightroom application.

See you again in my next post ♥️

Had a wonderful and wonderful day. This place that has now been turned into a park looks amazing. If it was the previous place, maybe it would have been known as a historical place. Then maybe we would have seen something more wonderful. Have a nice day.

Scrolling through these photos made me realize how special to visit a place that was built a long time ago. I'm always amazed by a place that you can also explore it's history. This park is so beautiful and relaxing 🤍

You should try it, visiting a historical place is a reason for us to seek information about history.

hello @riyat ,, I hope you had a lovely and peaceful walk.. the history of the park and the monument is so interesting.. you photos even made everything come alive.. beautiful shots.. thanks for sharing your beautiful walk.. 💚

I am glad you like it. Thank you very much for your support and kind comments my friend.♥️🙏

What beautiful architecture, undoubtedly a place made to last in time. Too bad similar rules in all parks hahaha. They almost don't let you do anything. I was very sad that the fish pond is abandoned .. lack of management ! The rest seems to me a place where I could go and spend the whole day .. good publication.

You are absolutely right, I don't really understand some of these rules, but if you just want to enjoy the natural beauty and get to know history more closely, this is the right place.
Thank you very much for your support and kind comments my friend 🙏♥️
