The rainy season is currently hitting our area, the continuous rain makes me a little panicked because I am afraid that the water conditions in the reservoir in my area will evaporate and of course it will cause flooding, my trip to the reservoir was only to see the water in the reservoir while enjoying the afternoon atmosphere around the reservoir which is rich in natural nuances. I did this trip alone considering that I don't spend much time at the reservoir, so I didn't invite friends and preferred to do this trip alone.
However, the journey to this reservoir is not easy because it is currently the rainy season and makes the road muddy and very slippery, especially on this trip I chose to go through a rural road.
I was still on the main road and everything was still running smoothly and the road was still good, but it was different when I started to enter the alley leading to the reservoir area, the road I chose was of course a village road and the road was not yet paved and was still very damaged, especially during the rainy season.
It just so happens that my house is not too far from the reservoir and it only takes about 20 minutes by motorbike, and it would probably take about 25 minutes if I chose to go via the highway.
It was clear that the road I was on was very damaged and very slippery, and another thing was that the size of the road was also quite narrow, so to maintain my balance I had to be very focused when riding the motorbike and of course had to be extra careful.
Another reason I chose to go through the village road is because from this road I can see a very strong natural feel, such as the rice fields that look green because it is the rice planting season.
Approximately 7 minutes through this damaged road, I finally arrived at the reservoir area, and as soon as I arrived at the reservoir area, I immediately felt a very thick natural nuance and a very beautiful natural scenery. I'm not so sure but I think this reservoir is the largest reservoir in my area or more precisely Peudada sub-district, Bireuen district.
And true to my suspicions, the water in this reservoir looked full and that made me very worried, if the rain continued to fall, it was very likely that the water in this reservoir would evaporate if the water was not released through the dam.
In addition, the water in the reservoir also looks very murky or dirty, seeing the water in this reservoir makes me feel two sensations, namely a sensation of satisfaction and a sensation of horror, my satisfaction lies in the beauty offered by this place, and my horror lies in the condition of the water which looks full and that is very worrying.
I felt unsatisfied just looking at the condition of the reservoir, so I decided to take a short walk around the reservoir, but another problem was that the road was also very damaged
The further ahead the road became more damaged so I decided to stop walking around this reservoir, and the view on my right was a view of the reservoir, and if I looked to the left then I would be able to see a view of a vast and beautiful expanse of rice fields.
My hope is that the water in this reservoir does not overflow so that what I am worried about does not happen, namely flooding. The problem is that if the rain continues to fall, the possibility of the reservoir overflowing will be greater and hopefully there is a solution behind this problem.
I didn't want to take any other risks, so after being satisfied with seeing the water in the reservoir and enjoying every beauty around the reservoir, I immediately decided to go home, and of course I would tell my father about this incident because my father is also a farmer.
This is the story of my experience when I visited a reservoir in my area, I feel very happy to be able to share this experience here so that it can be enjoyed by all my friends.
I end this post and see you again in my next post
