RE: RLT #1: Battle Pass Scenic Byway

Dear @roleerob !

Steve, I am always amazed by the vastness, richness, and wildness of the North American continent!😲

Although the Chinese continent is vast, it has many barren deserts, wilderness, and mountain ranges, so food and resources are always lacking compared to the population!
But, The North American continent is richer and more beautiful than the Chinese continent!

I remembered that the Japanese said that the North American continent was a land blessed by God!

By the way, As I read your travelogue, I feel fear at the same time. It would be very dangerous if forest fires, earthquakes, epidemics, or accidents occurred in such a vast nature. It would be very dangerous if a car accident were to occur in such a vast field!

I remembered that every year, many Americans disappear or die while traveling through the vast outdoors!

I felt that such vast nature was tempting, but at the same time, it presented many dangers to humans!

I thought Americans knew no fear!😃

I have always had a desire to travel the North American continent by car, but looking at your photos also makes me feel afraid!😄

I feel like I lack the confidence to survive in that vast and merciless nature!
Still, I want to take on the challenge of traveling to North America!

Thank you for good article!

Yes, well, my East Asian friend ...

"I feel like I lack the confidence to survive in that vast and merciless nature!"

... you would have been well-advised to seriously consider this maybe 150 years ago. But today? With all of our fancy new toys (think smartphones, etc.)?

Not to worry ...

Except in the winter ... On the wrong roads ... At the wrong time ... Hahaha! 😉

Thank you for stopping by and letting me know you enjoyed this post! 👋

Dear my elder bro, steve!

I assumed you crossed the North American continent using your smartphone's Global Positioning System!

I have a smart phone, but since I am visually impaired, I mainly just make phone calls.

I am always overwhelmed by the vastness and wild natural environment of the North American continent!
I am in awe of the huge grizzlies and moose that live on the North American continent!😨

If I were to see a huge grizzly living in North America in person, I would be terrified!😱

I thought Americans conquered the New World because they were fearless!

I hope your health and long life!

While I have seen a grizzly bear, fortunately it was at a considerable distance from me. It is one animal you do not want to have a ... "close encounter" ... with, as you would be unlikely to survive it.

My son and I did have a "close encounter" with a black bear, but it left us alone, thankfully. The predatory nature of grizzlies is well known, by comparison. And that is the reason there are not that many of them, in most areas.

Our forefathers killed them, without mercy, wiping them out ...

Moose, on the other hand, are more common. I have had a number of encounters with them. Also not an animal to have a close encounter with ... If I were to choose, however, I would far rather have to deal with a moose than a grizzly bear.
