Tenemos mi esposa y yo, amigos de #worldmapping, una entrañable conexión con la ciudad de Las Tunas y los muchos amigos (hivers activos y otros amigos que se están acercando a #hive) por ese motivo y a causa de nuestras actividades culturales como escritores, fuimos invitados a participar en La Fiesta de Raíces y Tradiciones, Coloquio Internacional Nicolás Guillén, Las Tunas 2025.
Recibimos la invitación con mucho regocijo y aquí estamos, hospedados en el motel "Los Pinos" ubicado en el reparto Buena Vista, en la zona norte de la ciudad; una zona que no habíamos visitado antes.
La apertura oficial de la Fiesta se produjo con el recibimiento a los invitados (nacionales y extranjeros) en la plaza General Vicente Garcia. Luego del protocolo inaugural, nos trasladaron hasta el hotel Las Tunas. Las vistas tanto del paisaje, la arquitectura monumental del área, nos causó muy grata impresión.
Luego la comisión de artistas nacionales fuimos trasladados más al norte, por ka vía que conduce a Puerto Padre, hasta el sencillo y hermoso motel Los Pinos.
Desde la propia entrada al motel, el murmullo y la sombra de los pinos, sirven como anuncio de las buenas vibras del lugar. La magnífica combinación entre el diseño de cada uno de los inmuebles, con el entorno natural y una abundante vegetación dominada por palmas, cocoteros y muchas variedades de mangos cuyos árboles exhibían la abundante cosecha de la fruta en plena maduración, adornaban el paisaje.
Las cabañas poseen un confort moderado pero suficiente para sentirse a gusto en este sitio, cada una asentada en la distancia apropiada para permitirnos relación y libertad. El restaurante, el anfiteatro, los jardines y parques, espaciados y coloridos, completan el ambiente tranquilo y acogedor de la instalación.
El tiempo de trabajo se hizo ligero gracias a la estancia en este lugar. Las tardes de recreo en la piscina de la instalación, el trovar y compartir en sus terrazas además del paseo entre los mangos frondosos, para observar y saborear sus deliciosos frutos.
También en esta porción norte, se encuentra el estadio de beisbol " Victoria de Girón" que, por estos días ha sido la sede de la semifinal de La Liga Élite de la pelota cubana entre los equipos de Las Tunas y el equipo de Santiago de Cuba; otro motivo que nos hizo disfrutar de las ventajas de estar en Las Tunas y en las bondades que descubrimos en el reparto Buena Vista, en el cálido norte de una ciudad hermosa.
En esta zona contrastan las amplias avenidas pavimentadas, con las polvorientas calles de la barriada interior; da gusto, para un caminante como yo, recorrer los caminos aledaños a las líneas del ferrocarril y atravesar curioso los estrechos puentes que cuelgan sobre el canal reseco que se alarga de este a oeste por Buena Vista, paralelo a las vías férreas.
A pesar de lo mucho que caminamos por los alrededores del motel, no nos alcanzaron estos tres días para visitar todos los rincones de la zona.
Ojalá y muy pronto podamos regresar y disfrutar de las bondades de Buena Vista y en especial de su motel "Los Pinos.

We received the invitation with a lot of joy and here we are, hosted in the motel "Los Pinos" located in the Buena Vista cast, in the northern part of the city;An area that we had not visited before.
The official opening of the party occurred with the reception to the guests (national and foreigners) in the Plaza "General Vicente Garcia." After the inaugural protocol, we were transferred to the Las Tunas hotel.The views of the landscape, the monumental architecture of the area, caused us a very pleasant impression.
Then the commission of national artists were transferred further to the north, by the highway that leads to Puerto Padre, to the single and beautiful motel "los Pinos."
From the entrance to the motel, the murmur and the shadow of the pines, serves as the announcement of the good vibes in the place.The magnificent combination between the design of each room, with the natural environment and an abundant vegetation dominated by palms, coconutos and many varieties of mangoes whose trees exhibited the abundant harvest of the fruit in full maturation, adorned the landscape.
The cabins have moderate but sufficient comfort allowing you to feel comfortable on this site, each settled in the appropriate distance to allow us relationship and freedom.The restaurant, the amphitheater, the gardens and parks, spaced and colorful, complete the quiet and cozy atmosphere of the installation.
The working time became light thanks to the stay in this place.Recreation afternoons in the installation pool, singing and sharing on its terraces in addition to the walk between the leafy mangoes, to observe and taste its delicious fruits.
Also in this northern portion, it is the Baseball Stadium "Victoria de Girón" that, on these days has been the headquarters of the semifinal of the Elite League of the Cuban baseball championship between the teams of Las Tunas and the Santiago de Cuba team; Another reason that made us enjoy the advantages of being at Las Tunas and the benefits that we discovered at the Buena Vista cast, in the warm north of a beautiful city.
In this area they contrast the wide paved avenues, with the dusty streets of the inner neighborhood;Give pleasure, for a walker like me, travel the roads adjacent to the railway lines and cross the narrow bridges that hang on the dry channel that lengthens from this to west by good view, parallel to the railways.
