This is very interesting. Malacca, Malaysia has a similar history to Goa. We still have the remains of A Famosa Fort, a Portuguese fort built a century before Fort Aguada. And the remains of St Francis Xavier. He was buried in Guangdong before his remains were transferred to St. Paul's Church, Malacca and later it was transferred again to Goa where it remain to this day. The walls of the ruined St Paul's Church still stand to this day just like St. Augustine in Goa. Thank you for sharing this 👍
