Hello everyone, I hope you are well. In my last post, I shared the middle section of the Ermenek Dam. I went to the dam and the lake almost every day during my week-long summer vacation. Although I love nature and greenery, I also really enjoy spending time near water. I especially love fishing and swimming. Today's post will again be about the turquoise lake. Most of the places I've shared are from the farthest part of the dam.
Herkese merhaba, umarım iyisinizdir. En sonki gönderimde Ermenek barajının orta kısmını paylaşmıştım. Bir haftalık yaz tatilinin hemen hemen her gününde barajın, gölün olduğu yere gittim. Her ne kadar doğayı, yeşili çok sevsem de suyun olduğu yerlerde vakit geçirmeyi de çok seviyorum. Özellikle balık tutmayısını ve yüzmeyi çok severim. Bugün ki gönderimin konusu yine turkuaz gölü olacak. Paylaşımını yaptığım yerlerin büyük bir bölümü barajın en uç kısmından.
After breakfast, I went to the lake to fish and relax. Since it was early in the morning, there was no one there.
The number of visitors has increased, especially in recent years. People come both to fish and to camp. Seeing the amount of water in the lake, I realized I wouldn't be able to fish. And indeed, that's how it turned out. As you can see, the water level is very low. You can easily walk across. In previous years, the places where I used to fish were covered with rocks.
Balık tutmak ve kafa dinlemek için kahvaltı yaptıktan sonra gölün olduğu yere gittim. Sabahın erken saatleri olduğu için hiç kimse yoktu.
Özellikle son yıllarda ziyaretçi sayısı arttı. İnsanlar hem balık tutmaya hem de kamp yapmaya geliyor. Göldeki su miktarını görünce balık tutamayacağımı anlamıştım. Nitekim öyle de oldu. Gördüğünüz üzere su seviyesi çok az. Yürüyerek bile rahat bir şekilde karşıya geçilebilir. Önceki senelerde balık tuttuğum yerler taşla kaplıydı.
Even though there wasn't much water, I still tried fishing for about forty minutes, but I couldn't catch a single fish as I had hoped. On top of that, my fishing rod broke. As you can imagine, I ended the day completely in the red. 😄
That's how life is sometimes; you can end up losing money on a venture you entered into to make a profit.
Su az olsa da yine de bir süre balık tutmak için çaba harcadım yaklaşık kırk dakika uğraştım ancak düşündüğüm gibi bir tane bile tutamadım. Üstelik oltada kırıldı. Anlayacağınız tamamen zararla kapattım günü. 😄
Hayatta böyledir bazen kâr etmek için girdiğiniz bir işten zararla ayrılabiliyorsunuz.
Around 11:00 a.m., the number of visitors began to increase. A few people asked where they could find a good spot to fish. When I explained my situation to them, they seemed a bit discouraged. I don't know if they tried fishing, though. I hope they didn't come back empty-handed. 😅
After spending some time by the water and taking pictures, I headed back up.
Saat 11.00 sıralarında ziyaretçi sayısı artmaya başladı. Birkaç kişi balık tutmak için uygun yer sordu. Onlara kendi durumumu anlatınca biraz karamsarlığa düştüler. Ancak tutmak için uğraştılar mı bilmiyorum. Umarım elleri boş dönmemiştir. 😅

The water level rose slightly as it flowed upstream. However, since my fishing rod broke, I could only watch the fish. 😅
On the bright side, at least I got to relax. After sitting under the shade of a willow tree for a while, I left.
Su seviyesi yukarı kesimlere doğru çıktıkça bir miktar artıyordu. Ancak oltam kırıldığı için sadece balıkları izlemekle yetindim. 😅
Olumlu açıdan baktığımda en azından kafamı dinlemiş oldum. Söğüt ağacının gölgesinde bir süre oturduktan sonra ayrıldım.
Since it was the last days of the vacation, I didn't want to go home early. I headed towards the middle of the lake. I think the last time I came here was two years ago. Although the water levels were quite low here too, it wasn't very noticeable. Of course, the view was magnificent as always. If anyone has seen my last post, this is a continuation of that. We didn't stop here because we didn't have much time.
Tatilin son günleri olduğu için erkenden eve gitmek istemedim. Gölün orta kısımlarına doğru yol aldım. Buraya da sanırım en son iki yıl önce gelmiştim. Su seviyeleri burda da baya düşük olsa da çok farkedilmiyordu. Tabi ki de manzara her zaman ki gibi muhteşemdi. Son gönderimi inceleyenler olduysa eğer burası oranın devamı niteliğinde. Çok fazla vaktimiz olmadığı için buralarda durmamıştık.
Since I wouldn't be able to see these places for at least 6-7 months, I took one last long look at the view. Then I headed home. Although I was sad that I couldn't catch any fish, I had a good time. I hope the water level rises in the summer.
Before reaching the village, I noticed dogs and their mothers waiting by the side of the road. I gave them a few pieces of bread from the car, but they didn't eat it.
I took their pictures and said goodbye to them too.

En az 6-7 ay buraları göremeyeceğim için manzaraya son kez uzun uzun baktım. Daha sonra eve doğru yol aldım. Balık tutamadığım için üzgün olsam da güzel vakit geçirmiştim. Umarım yazın su seviyesi yükselir.
Köye ulaşmadan önce yolun kenarında bekleyen köpekleri ve annelerini fark ettim. Arabadan birkaç parça ekmek verdim ancak yemediler.
