Good evening, my friends, wherever you are. I hope you are all healthy and happy, allowing you to carry out your daily activities as usual. I hope you all have a pleasant day.

In this blog, I want to invite you all to explore one of the tourist destinations, the Mata Ie Pool, located at the foot of a mountain in the Darul Imarah district, Aceh Besar.

In my previous blog, I shared a glimpse of this place, so please continue to follow my blog to explore and get a closer look at this place through the images I will share later, as well as short articles from me.

After getting really hot during my tour of Banda Aceh a few days ago, we decided to go to a famous bathing spot that has been around since the 1970s: Kolam Mata Ie.

My friends...
When I first started exploring the area, I headed straight to the bathing area to the left of the prayer room.
It was very hot, so there were many visitors in the refreshing waters of Kolam Mata Ie, enjoying the refreshing mountain water flowing swiftly towards Muara Nun.
Even I lost my patience when I saw the flowing waters of "Mata Ie." My immediate thought was to dive into the clear, cool water. However, I also had to take a little time before swimming in this area because I needed to take some pictures to share and create a blog post for you to see at this meeting.

I had previously seen reports that this tourist attraction lacked cleanliness. However, these concerns were disproved when I began exploring the area further.

Personally, I found the Mata Ie pools to be adequately clean, and I also saw numerous banners detailing the rules visitors must adhere to while exploring the area, one of which was the mandatory attire.

As we crossed one of the bridges within the destination area, we saw many locals washing clothes and utensils in the flowing water of Mata Ie, which flows continuously 24/7.

My friends...
In the past, this river supplied water for the Krueng Darui spring, dug on the orders of Sultan Iskandar Muda Meukuta Alam. Its estuary is located in Taman Sari, where the princesses bathed with the ladies of the Darul Dunya palace.
And now, Mata Ie springs are a source of water for the Tirta Montala Regional Water Company (PDAM) in Aceh Besar.

The Mata Ie Bathing Pool is located at the foot of a mountain in the Darul Imarah district of Aceh Besar. It is the source of a river that originates from the mountain's caverns. This is why the water is emerald green, with a beautiful, refreshing shimmer.

My friends...
Furthermore, the air is quite fresh, almost like the highlands, and the numerous branches of large trees create a natural canopy, creating a shady atmosphere. This destination also has several pools of varying depths. For those of you who can't swim, don't worry, because there is a pool rental service there. For a price equivalent to around 10 HIVE tokens (current price), you can use them as much as you like while in the area.

After you are satisfied with bathing in the Mata Ie Pool baths, you can go to the changing room, which is a public facility provided by the place, which is located next to the prayer room and is also a place to clean yourself if you want to pray.

That concludes my blog this time about one of the bathing destinations I visited a few days ago with friends. I feel the Kolam Mata Ie bathing area is perfect for family recreation, with its river water flowing from mountain crevices. It's not only refreshing but also provides an unforgettable experience with its unique mountain atmosphere.

I hope you all enjoyed and enjoyed what I shared in this post. Thank you very much to all of you who took the time to view and read my blog to the end.

Please leave your comments, support, and input, as they mean a lot to me, so I can make this blog even better in the future.

That's all for now.
Greetings, everyone.
See you in my next blog.
