Good Sunday evening friends #wordmappin everyone
Hello my friends, how are you this week? I hope you are all healthy and happy so that you can carry out your daily activities as before and I hope you all have a pleasant day
My friends!!
Aceh, precisely in North Aceh district, was once known as a magnificent kingdom in its time and was called the Islamic kingdom of Samudra Pasai.
The Islamic Kingdom of Samudra Pasai was the first Islamic Kingdom in Southeast Asia and had an important role in the spread of Islam in the region, so it is not surprising that Aceh is one of the provinces in Indonesia where the Samudra Pasai Kingdom used to be located and now its population is 99.9% Muslim. Maybe one of the main reasons is the success of the Samudra Pasai Kingdom in its time.
In the past, Samudra Pasai was known as an active center of trade and the spread of Islam, with extensive trade and cultural relations to various regions including India, China, even the Middle East and until now we find many Acehnese people who resemble descendants from various regions, maybe that is also the influence of the Kingdom.
And now all the successes of the kingdom have passed and now we can see some of the relics in a museum called the "Islam Samudra Pasai" museum
Well...
On this occasion I want to share with all my friends some pictures when I visited the museum tourist attraction, so keep following this post.
A few days ago I and some friends went on a trip to visit some tourist attractions in North Aceh, Aceh, Indonesia.
And the main place you want to visit is the Samudra Pasai Islamic Museum considering its history which is so famous in my area.
And on the way to the place I had time to take some pictures to be shared with this amazing community, I captured this picture when we were taking a break on one of the bridges, Jalan Elak to the place because the weather was so bright I took the time to take some pictures.
Long story short, we arrived at our destination.
The Samudra Pasai Islamic Museum is one of the museums located in Lhokseumawe, Aceh, Indonesia.
This museum was established to preserve and exhibit some of the history and culture of the Samudra Pasai Kingdom as well as some other historical relics from the region.
and from that we will see some of these relics later
And before we enter it, in front of the museum door there are several posters which explain the visiting hours and rules for visiting the object.
The first time I entered the museum, the first thing I found was a sketch of the Samudera Pasai Kingdom in its time. Researchers predict that the sketch is a form of the success of Samudra Pasai in the past, several towering houses, a peaceful and peaceful hometown, an unforgettable history.
Then I continued to explore some of the relics in the museum.
And there are also traditional musical instruments.
My friend!!
Traditional musical instruments are musical instruments that have been passed down from generation to generation and developed in a region or area, their presence is also proof of the high Hasanah of thought and culture.
The poster also explains that there are three functions of these traditional musical instruments.
- As a means of traditional ceremonies.
- As a musical background for art performances.
- And a means of communication/expression/creation of local community culture.
Then there are also several photos of heroes and on the poster that I took a picture of also explains a brief history of one of Aceh's female heroes named Cut Mutia.
Next is the manuscript.
My friend!!
Manuscripts are one of the most authentic primary sources that can bridge the gap between the past and the present.
Manuscripts or ancient manuscripts can also be used as a shortcut to find out the intellectual treasures and social history of the lives of people in the past. The mention of this object differs according to various languages.
And this manuscript has become a cultural heritage of the Indonesian nation that is spread across various regions. written in various scripts and languages.
Here, this artifact is partly collected in the Samudra Pasai Museum and partly to the community. and what is stored in the Samudra Pasai Museum is almost all Islamic scriptures. My friend can see some of the pictures that I have captured.
I continued to explore the museum and these were also some relics from ancient times.
My friend!!
Considering that this used to be a kingdom, there must have been an official currency and at that time the means of payment was dirham.
Dirham is a gold coin that was the official means of exchange of the Samudera Pasai Kingdom in the past.
There are also many tombstones with explanations, but I decided to take just a few pictures to complete this post.
And there are still many relics from the Samudra Pasai Kingdom, so I think if my friends visit the city of Lhokseumawe I will recommend the museum as a choice of tourist destination for all of you.
And if I have free time, I will try to share everything and more details about the museum because I took a lot of pictures when visiting the place.
Before we decided to go out I also had time to capture some pictures and this is the last picture I shared at this meeting.
Okay my friends, those are some of my pictures and short writings at this meeting with the hope that all of you are entertained and like what I share and thank you very much to all of you who have taken a little time to read this post.
Your criticism, comments and support mean a lot to me to perform better in the future.
That's enough for now at this meeting, greetings everyone, see you in my next post.
