Yesterday, I started selling my ukay ukay premium bags again. I spent the day arranging the bags, taking pictures, and preparing everything for the buyers. It was tiring, but exciting because I love selling these bags.
My husband hesitated to support me on this business. He remembered how exhausting it used to be when he delivered the bags before, and he didn’t want me to overwork I reassured him, its my passion, and I wanted to handle this myself.
The day turned out to be busier than I expected. Many students came to buy bags for Teacher’s Day tomorrow. It was amazing to see how excited they were. Choosing the best bags for their teacher. I helped them pick, answered their questions and made sure they got what they liked.
By the end of the day, almost all the bags were sold. I was tired, but it felt so good seeing the students happy and confident with their purchases, After everything, I finally took a short break and had a quick merienda tor recharge.
Ukay-ukay business is not always easy. It takes diskarte, patience and energy. But seeing people love what we well, and knowing we’re part of their occasion, makes all the effort worth it. Yesterday reminded me why this is my passion, and how fulfilling it is to see my hard work pay off.
