“Tell us your most loved story about yourself and your relationship.”
That was the question which a young lady threw to Sister Jane on the day she was invited to talk to the single sisters in her church.
“I will tell you about a date that rearranged the course of my life. That was the date I had a new beginning from the life of struggles I had been living.” Sister Jane responded.
“I have lived for the most part of my life without proper parental care.” She continued.
“I had been living with pains and tears most of my life. My mom usually beat and manhandled me for every little mistake I made. My other sisters and brothers were not treated the way I was treated until one day, I got to know that the mother I thought I had was not my true mother. She was my stepmom. That was one date that rebranded my knowledge about my parental family.”
“With that new awareness, I was moved to leave the village and look for my life realization. I started doing menial job to sponsor myself through college. I went to serve as a house help somewhere in the city. Life was hard for me in those days. By the help of God, I was able to go through college.”
“After I finished college I moved to the city to establish myself. Then one, a male figure came to take an apartment near where I was living. That date marked another beginning in my life. It was the beginning of my marital life. Within a few months, we were married. And since then, my life has witnessed an upward progress. That is the brief narration of my story.”
As Sister Jane finished her story, the ladies gave her a standing applause. Many of the girls were seriously motivated by the story of Sis Jane.
