It's Friday and time for the ZAPFIC50 challenge by @felt-buzz. This week's prompt "steep" reminded me of situations in which I had to choose between a huge price to pay for something I truly desired, an inordinate amount of my time to be spent on a project, or whether to volunteer or give your word to someone that resulted in more issues than first anticipated. That's my interpretation of something out of the ordinary.
My story is below:
A lifelong dream inside, trembling hands pressed the enrollment envelope to Eileen's breast.
For months, she weighed her decision to apply, given the steep price.
But close proximity to, and possible apprenticeship under, world-renown financial leaders prevailed.
Smiling, she opened the mailbox.
Becoming a successful, financial mindset coach awaited.

Es viernes y es hora del desafío ZAPFIC50 de @felt-buzz. El tema de esta semana, «steep» (empinado), me ha recordado situaciones en las que he tenido que elegir entre pagar un precio muy alto por algo que realmente deseaba, dedicar una cantidad excesiva de tiempo a un proyecto o ofrecerme como voluntario o dar mi palabra a alguien, lo que ha dado lugar a más problemas de los que se esperaban inicialmente.
