For this week's ZAPFIC50 Friday challenge with prompt "extreme", I wanted to go one step further to reach past the boundaries of ordinary to get to the extraordinary. In my flash fiction story, I decided to reach for the intangible and create a scenario that was more mindful than physical. This challenge was created by @felt-buzz and is designed to be told in exactly fifty (50) words.
My story is below:
The visit was short but dark. I jerked a sharp breath, gaping with eyes wide.
Grabbing my belongings, I exited.
Agreeing to advocate his case involved extreme measures.
Don't get me wrong. I love my brother.
But his demands were inhumane.
Upon reaching my car, his guilt was overwhelmingly obvious.

Para el desafío ZAPFIC50 Friday de esta semana, con el tema «extremo», quise ir un paso más allá para traspasar los límites de lo ordinario y llegar a lo extraordinario. En mi relato breve, decidí alcanzar lo intangible y crear un escenario más mental que físico. Este desafío fue creado por @felt-buzz y está diseñado para ser contado en exactamente cincuenta (50) palabras.
A continuación mi historia.
Sin una bola de cristal
La visita fue breve pero sombría. Respiré hondo y abrí los ojos como platos.
