While it is fun to be holding a joystick and enjoy our game, we must be mindful that we should not be the joystick of others in the workplace to bring them joy.
There are many people whom love to manipulate others and manoeuvre themselves into a more promising position where they can be in control. Many would have thought that they are just working and shouldn't think about such things. But one cannot deny that, such situations do happen in the workplace and we might end up feeling jaded due to being controlled or manipulated.
Always look at what we have present and always keep a lookout when someone starts to divert work towards you which is not part of your job scope. People that suddenly become friendly is also a tell tale sign that they are up to no good.
So keep your eyes open while at work and watch out for the people that changed their behaviour overnight.
