I admire how you convey Lenny's deep emotions to the reader. It felt like Lenny clenched his fists in front of me.

Well, there is a bit of an open plot, I think Lenny also has the right to defend himself, not just because of frustration of work appreciation, maybe there is a deeper reason behind it, and every character deserves a chance to explain 😊

Hello @anggreklestari. You are right that Lenny has a right to defend himself. He suffers from paranoia and other illnesses. He doesn't know how to deal with them other than drown himself in liquor. I sense that he's a loner at work and in his personal life. He doesn't explain his feelings to anyone, but writes down his feelings in a notebook, then drinks to ease his pain. A deadly combination when you don't have anyone to talk to. His friend tries to help.

Hopefully Lenny can explain his true feelings at the facility where he was taken. They will help with his conflict resolution in not turning to alcohol to solve his problems.

Thanks so much for your visit and thoughtful insight into my story. Take care.

As a man, it is also difficult to express his feelings and it makes sense that it makes him more dependent on alcohol, and he feels more and more lonely.

That is true, which makes it even sadder because he doesn't have an immediate family, spouse or children in his life. I speculate that many people go through this loneliness and cycle.

Take care.
