After about two weeks at home Jones knows that he'll soon be back to school. He was treated kindly at home because he is the freshman. But after staying for about a week he was then regarded as an integral part of the home. No preferential treatment and all that.
He knows that he will soon be on his way back to school and he prays for another vacation, a short one so that he'll continue to enjoy the preferential treatment as the freshman.
Just as he was packing his bags after with he'll head out to the central park the mother's walked in, patted him at the back and said a few prayers. She reminded him that he'll always be her child, the freshman back from the university. She asked Jones to remain obedient and concentrate with his book so as to come out with flying colours.
