Following incessant clashes between the two neighbouring communities farmers could not easily go to their various farms. This in a long run has affected food supply to the major towns around. It has also led to inflation in the prices of goods in the market.
The municipal council authority was touched but the growing hunger and lack of food in the communities. The Mayor had to give orders from the state grains and cereals reserves to be opened and things stored to be sold to people at an affordable rate.
Within one week of sales, the prices of goods and services dropped drastically. People started seeing things to eat and life began to go back to normalcy.
It then appears that hunger or depravity play a key role in ensuring people's productivity and all that.
