Riding against the wind and rain is what Jude detest so much. But he has to go to work even on days such elements are at their peak. Such was the case yesterday when Jude took off to work. The rain was much. Of course, it is the peak period of rainy season. He managed to move at 40km/h but that seems to be odd. He will get to work quite late and then be queried. He decided to o speedup things, he accelerated to 60km/h.
That was when the unexpected happened. Like I said earlier, he hates driving when it is raining. Even with the windscreen and wiper doing their jobs, he is always nervous.
Then the unexpected happened, he ran into a pothole on the road, and the car screeched and veered off the road. Jude hit a streetlight and his headlamp was shattered. He cursed the elements and had to abandon the car right there.
During break time and with the rain subsiding, he came and took the car to a mechanic for repairs. Jude later found out that the mechanic was barely skilled as he fumbled with virtually everything.
Out of impatience, Jude terminated his work and took his car elsewhere for the same repairs. Fortunately for him, this later mechanic was far better than the first one. He then settled with him and his damaged car was finally fixed to his satisfaction.
