I've never made any secret of the fact I don't like Artificial Intelligence (AI) when it comes to my writing here on Hive or anywhere else for that matter; I don't need the help because I'm an educated human being.
No, I'm not saying I'm smarter than anyone else, I'm a bit of a dumb fucker to be honest, just that because I'm human I'm ok with the fact I make mistakes and that includes not being the best writer out there...let's face it, none of us are even though some of you probably think you are.
Anyway, I don't care if I'm not the greatest writer that ever lived, it doesn't affect my life for better or worse either way; what negatively impacts my life is a corporation stealing my personal information and data and trying to tell me what to write, and how, with their AI fuckassery.
Human beings have personalities and it's those that make us unique so I'm not inclined to want a computer to make up my words.
Some think it's ok, like in a work environment, for AI to write for them but it's not...I mean, what happens if you communicated in writing with someone by email and they sounded legit (because they use AI to craft their emails) then you met them in a professional meeting and found they are a dumb fucker who can't articulate their thoughts or converse with any skill at all? I don't know about you, but I'd think that person was a total fucken idiot.
Anyway, what's this all about?
Well, I was forced to update my Microsoft 365 account which I use for (some of) my emails and calendars and for Excel and Word purposes and the upgrade added in their AI nutbaggery called copilot. It's fucked.
It should be called cuntpilot I think.
Apparently there's some methods of disabling it, the fucken thing is on my phone and computers now, but I'm not that smart so don't know how to do it. For that reason I've moved away from Microsoft 365 altogether and have sought other options to handle my emails, calendars, spreadsheets and word processing - those fuckers have no right to my data or to be telling me how to write. I'm human and prefer to remain so.
Microsoft 365 can fuck off.
